Exam Format: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - There are two types of IELTS: Academic and General Training. Exam Format: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Each section is scored on a scale of 0-9 and given an overall band score. The test is graded overall, considering grammar, vocabulary, fluency and coherence. IELTS is widely accepted by more than 12,000-13,000 universities, employers and government agencies in many English speaking countries including the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Computer vs. Paper: IELTS on computer is very similar to IELTS on paper. The difference is that the answers are submitted on a desktop computer instead of being written on a sheet of paper. This is accompanied by more test dates (up to 7 days a week) and the ability to choose a time slot of choice (up to three times a day). IELTS on the computer has faster results within 2 days from the test date.

In the IELTS Listening test on Computer, the timing is different from the IELTS on Paper test: There will be time to read the questions before any part of the Listening test starts, There will be two minutes to review the answers after the Listening test is over, The duration of the Listening test is approximately 30 - 36 minutes.

The test format is a 3-hour long computer-based test assessing test takers' listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills. The test is divided into several sections, including:

AI speaking test is the judgement on the data which is already uploaded in the system while human examiner is trained to consider the social context for proper judgement. It is difficult for a computer to understand local language, jokes or slang, like Indian or Sri Lankan or other non-native English speaker's English, the assessment time of a human examiner is considering all these aspects. Human examiner understands different accents and the meaning of different pauses like confusion, thoughts, breaks etc. They can help when stuck while speaking. Give better judgement than computer. Speaking test with human examiner is of 11-14 minutes.
