फिल्म और थिएटर के अध्ययन के तरीके बदलेंगे नजरिया (Methods of studying film and theatre will change perspective)

कभी-कभी, बदलाव एक साथ नहीं होता, बल्कि चरणों में है। जिस तरह से सुनते हैं, लिखते हैं या सीखते हैं, जिससे काम करते हैं, जिस तरह से दुनिया को देखते हैं। जिस से समझते हैं।  यह शिक्षा ही है जो जीवन के प्रति दृष्टिकोण को बदलने के लिए उपकरण है। मैंने सिनेमा और थिएटर के सिद्धांत, इतिहास और राजनीति का अध्ययन किया। मैंने फिल्म निर्माण के हर पहलू और विभिन्न ऐतिहासिक अवधियों के नाटकों का अध्ययन किया, जिनमें से कई तरीकों से प्रस्तुत किया। जिसने डिग्री प्राप्त की है, वह वही व्यक्ति नहीं है जो तीन साल पहले एम्फीथिएटर में तरीके से चलाया था। फिल्म और थिएटर का अध्ययन से दुनिया के प्रति दृष्टिकोण से बदल गया है -

Sometimes, change does not happen all at once, but in stages. The way we listen, write or learn, the way we work, the way we look at the world, the way we understand it. It is education that is the tool to change one’s approach to life. I studied the theory, history and politics of cinema and theatre. I studied every aspect of filmmaking and plays from different historical periods, many of which I presented in performances. The person who has received a degree is not the same person who walked into an amphitheater three years ago. The study of film and theatre has changed the way one approaches the world –

1. कला की भूमिका - "कला से महत्वपूर्ण चीज़ें हैं!" यह सच हो सकता है, लेकिन कला इंसानों को खुद को अभिव्यक्त की अनुमति है। यह एक शैक्षिक उपकरण है, जिसका सही तरीके से और अच्छे उद्देश्य के लिए उपयोग पर, हम मुद्दों में खुद को शिक्षित कर सकते हैं, जिनमें नहीं जानते थे या महत्वहीन भी मानते थे।

The role of art – “There are things more important than art!” That may be true, but art allows humans to express themselves. It is an educational tool that, when used correctly and for good purpose, can educate ourselves in issues we may not have known about or even considered unimportant.

2. तरीके -जब सिनेमा और थिएटर के सिद्धांत का अध्ययन हैं, तो दिमाग को लोगों का अध्ययन के लिए प्रशिक्षित करते हैं। केवल फिल्म-निर्माण के तकनीकी पक्ष का अध्ययन नहीं हैं, आप खुद किरदारों का अध्ययन हैं। जब खुद को लोगों पर ज़्यादा ध्यान देना हैं, शारीरिक हाव-भाव से शब्दों तक, जो किसी किरदार में कमोबेश बताते हैं, तो जीवन में भी ऐसा ही शुरू कर सकते हैं, लोगों और कार्यों को बेहतर तरीके से समझने में सक्षम हैं।

Methods – When studying the theory of cinema and theatre, one trains the mind to study people. Not only are you studying the technical side of filmmaking, you are studying the characters themselves. When you pay more attention to people, from body language to the words that convey more or less of a character, you can begin to do the same in life, being able to understand people and actions better.

3. ऐतिहासिक और राजनीतिक घटना -कलात्मक रचनाओं के पीछे का इतिहास महत्वपूर्ण है जितना कि रचना स्वयं। जब फिल्मों और नाटकों के निर्माण के समय के पीछे के इतिहास और राजनीति का अध्ययन शुरू हैं, तो आप संबंध शुरू करते हैं। दुनिया का इतिहास कहानी को प्रभावित है, कुछ सांस्कृतिक और ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं के महत्व को समझना शुरू हैं। हमारे दृष्टिकोण को बदल दिया है, और इस घटनाओं से जीवन आकार है। उन तरीकों को देखना शुरू कर देंगे जिनसे जीवन कला से प्रभावित है: चाहे वह स्टॉक कैरेक्टर हो, सामाजिक गतिविधियाँ हों या फैशन भी।

Historical and political events - The history behind artistic creations is as important as the creation itself. When you begin to study the history and politics behind the times when films and plays were made, you begin to make connections. World history influences the story, you begin to understand the significance of certain cultural and historical events. Our perspectives are changed, and life is shaped by these events. You begin to see the ways in which life is influenced by art: whether it is stock characters, social activities, or even fashion.

4. फिल्म और नाटक तरीके -फिल्मों का अध्ययन के फायदे और नुकसान हैं। यह ऐसी चीजें देखने की अनुमति है जिन पर औसत फिल्म देखने वाला या थिएटर प्रशंसक ध्यान नहीं देता: प्रतीकवाद, रूपक, पात्रों के बीच समानताएँ. नकारात्मक पक्ष यह है कि छोटी-छोटी गलतियाँ देखते हैं, जिन्हें अनदेखा नहीं कर सकते। आप गलतियों को नोटिस शुरू करते हैं जो शो को बर्बाद कर सकती हैं: निरंतरता की समस्याएं, स्क्रिप्ट की गुणवत्ता, अच्छा निर्देशन सूची है। यह अच्छी फिल्म या थिएटर प्रोडक्शन की और भी सराहना के लिए प्रेरित करेगा, क्योंकि अवगत होंगे कि इसमें मेहनत है, और ऐसी गलतियों की अनुपस्थिति एक अच्छी से बनाई प्रोडक्शन की गुणवत्ता को उजागर है।

Film and drama methods - Studying films has advantages and disadvantages. It allows you to see things that the average moviegoer or theater fan does not notice: symbolism, metaphors, similarities between characters. The downside is that you notice small mistakes that you can't ignore. You start to notice mistakes that can ruin the show: continuity problems, the quality of the script, good direction - the list goes on. This will lead to an even greater appreciation of a good film or theatre production, because you are aware that hard work goes into it, and the absence of such mistakes highlights the quality of a well-made production.

5. मीडिया पक्ष - जब सिनेमा/थिएटर के सिद्धांत का अध्ययन हैं, तो सामाजिक मुद्दों और संस्कृति पर नज़रिया हमेशा के लिए बदलता है। कुछ परेशान वाली सच्चाइयों के प्रति आँखें खोलता है, जैसे मुख्यधारा के सिनेमा में अन्य चीज़ों के अलावा लिंगवाद, नस्लवाद और समलैंगिकता की प्रबल उपस्थिति। जब विषयों का अध्ययन शुरू हैं, तो स्वचालित से अन्य मीडिया में देखना हैं: छवियाँ, विज्ञापन, टेलीविज़न, संगीत वीडियो। इस से अवगत हैं कि सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों का उपयोग अप्रत्यक्ष से ऐसी मानसिकता का समर्थन के लिए है। इससे महत्वपूर्ण है कि विश्वास दिलाने के लिए हेरफेर है कि 'वास्तविक' है या 'सामाजिक से स्वीकार्य' है और नहीं। यह है कि अलग होने, ऐसे पैटर्न को तोड़ने की कोशिश और उद्योग में अधिक व्यापक सोच वाली सामग्री के लिए प्रेरित करेगा।

The Media Side - When studying cinema/theatre theory, the perspective on social issues and culture changes forever. It opens the eyes to some disturbing truths, such as the strong presence of sexism, racism and homophobia, among other things, in mainstream cinema. When studying topics, look at other media than the automatic: images, advertisements, television, music videos. Be aware that cultural productions are used to implicitly support such a mindset. It is important to understand that there is manipulation to make you believe what is 'real' or 'socially acceptable' and what is not. It is that which will be different, an attempt to break such patterns and inspire more broad-minded content in the industry.
