सीबीएसई 10वीं का एग्जाम 2026; परीक्षा मार्च से मई तक (CBSE 10th Exam 2026; Exam from March to May)

केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड (सीबीएसई) 10वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा 2026 से साल में 2 बार कराएगा। बोर्ड ने ड्राफ्ट को मंजूरी दे दी। पहली परीक्षा 17 फरवरी से 6 मार्च तक, दूसरी 5 से 20 मई तक होगी। इसका फायदा 26 लाख से ज्यादा बच्चों को मिलेगा। 2025 के एग्जाम में 24 लाख से ज्यादा बच्चे बैठ रहे हैं। इस पैटर्न पर सेशन 2021-22 में एग्जाम ली जा चुकी है। इस बाद फैसला वापस लिया था।

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the 10th board examination twice a year from 2026. The board approved the draft. The first exam will be from 17 February to 6 March, the second from 5 to 20 May. More than 26 lakh children will benefit from this. More than 24 lakh children are appearing in the 2025 exam. The exam has been conducted on this pattern in session 2021-22. After this the decision was withdrawn.

केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री ने कहा कि जेईई की तरह 2 बार परीक्षा से बच्चों को फायदा होगा। एक बार स्कोर कम होने पर वह दूसरी बार उसे बेहतर कर सकेंगे। ये नियम 2025-26 सेशन से लागू होगा। मतलब है कि साल 2026 में बोर्ड एग्‍जाम 2 बार आयोजित होंगे।

The Union Education Minister said that like JEE, children will benefit from the examination twice. Once the score is low, they will be able to improve it the second time. This rule will be applicable from the 2025-26 session. This means that board exams will be conducted twice in the year 2026.

स्टूडेंट्स के पास ऑप्शन - 1. साल में एक बार परीक्षा दें। 2. दोनों परीक्षाओं में शामिल हों। 3. किसी सब्जेक्ट में अच्छा परफॉर्म न करने पर, दूसरी परीक्षा में उस विषय का दोबारा एग्‍जाम दें।

Student's options - 1. Give the exam once a year. 2. Appear in both the exams. 3. If you do not perform well in any subject, give the exam of that subject again in the second exam.

जो स्‍टूडेंट्स दोनों बार बोर्ड एग्‍जाम में शामिल होंगे, उनका वो रिजल्‍ट फाइनल माना जाएगा, जो बेहतर होगा। यानी अगर दूसरी बार एग्‍जाम देने पर नंबर घट जाएंगे, तो पहली परीक्षा के नंबर ही फाइनल मानेगे।

For those students who appear in the board exam both the times, the result of the better one will be considered final. That is, if the marks decrease on giving the exam for the second time, then the marks of the first exam will be considered final.

दोनों परीक्षाएं पूरे सिलेबस पर आधारित होंगी। एग्‍जाम का फॉर्मेट भी दोनों परीक्षाओं में एक जैसा ही होगा, 10वीं के लिए सप्‍लीमेंट्री एग्‍जाम अब खत्‍म होगा।दोनों परीक्षाओं के लिए एग्‍जाम सेंटर एक ही रहेगा।

Both the exams will be based on the entire syllabus. The format of the exam will also be the same in both the exams, the supplementary exam for 10th will now end. The exam center will be the same for both the exams.

दोनों परीक्षाओं के लिए रजिस्‍ट्रेशन एक ही बार होगा। दो बार परीक्षा का ऑप्‍शन चुनने पर फीस एक साथ होगी,प्रैक्टिकल और इंटरनल एग्‍जाम एक ही बार होंगे। ये पहले की तरह दिसंबर-जनवरी में आयोजित होगे।

Registration for both the exams will be done only once. If you choose the option of examination twice, the fee will be paid together, practical and internal exams will be held only once. These will be conducted in December-January as before.

बोर्ड ने 9 मार्च तक फीडबैक मंगाया बोर्ड ने इस ड्राफ्ट पर स्‍टेकहोल्‍डर्स से 9 मार्च तक फीडबैक को कहा है। इसमें स्‍कूल एडमिनिस्‍ट्रेशन, पेरेंट्स एसोसिएशन, टीचर्स एसोसिएशन, पॉलिसी मेकर्स और चुने हुए एनजीओ हैं।

The board has sought feedback by March 9. The board has asked for feedback from the stakeholders on this draft by March 9. It includes school administration, parents association, teachers association, policy makers and selected NGOs.

साल में 2 बार एग्जाम कराने का ड्राफ्ट अगस्‍त 2024 में तैयार था। शिक्षामंत्री ने कहा था कि जिस तरह स्टूडेंट्स के पास साल में दो साल इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों में एडमिशन के लिए जॉइंट एंट्रेंस एग्जाम (जेईई) का ऑप्शन है, उसी तरह स्टूडेंट्स 10वीं के एग्जाम साल में दो बार देगे।

The draft for conducting exams twice a year was ready in August 2024. The Education Minister had said that just as students have the option of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for admission in engineering colleges two years a year, similarly students will give 10th exam twice a year.

मिनिस्‍ट्री ऑफ एजुकेशन ने पिछले सप्‍ताह 19 फरवरी को सीबीएसई बोर्ड सचिव और दूसरे शिक्षाविदों के साथ साल में 2 बार बोर्ड एग्‍जाम कराने को लेकर चर्चा थी। शिक्षामंत्री ने सीबीएसई, एनसीईआरटी, केवीएस, एनवीएस और कई स्‍कूल पदाधिकार‍ियों के साथ साल में 2 बार परीक्षाएं कराने पर चर्चा की जिसके बाद ये फैसला लिया है।

Last week on February 19, the Ministry of Education had a discussion with the CBSE Board Secretary and other educationists about conducting board exams twice a year. The Education Minister discussed conducting examinations twice a year with CBSE, NCERT, KVS, NVS and many school officials after which this decision has been taken.
