गूगल बंद कर रहा है ये सर्विस, सुनते ही लगेगा झटका (Google is closing this service, you will be shocked to hear this)

गूगल ने एक ऐसी सर्विस बंद का ऐलान है जो वेबसाइट के लंबे लिंक को छोटा करती थी. ये सर्विस 'goo.gl' के नाम से जानी थी और 25 अगस्त 2025 से काम बंद करगी.  अगर ऐसे लिंक को खोलने की कोशिश करें जो 'goo.gl' से शुरू है तो वो नहीं खुलेगा और त्रुटि संदेश दिखेगा.

Google has announced the closure of a service that used to shorten long links on websites. This service was to be known as 'goo.gl' and will stop functioning from 25 August 2025.  If you try to open a link which starts with 'goo.gl' it will not open and an error message will appear.

वार्निंग :- पहले, अगस्त 23, 2024 से कुछ लिंक पर एक चेतावनी देगी. चेतावनी ये लिंक जल्द ही काम बंद कर देगा.  ये चेतावनी कुछ ही लिंक्स पर दिखाई देगी, लेकिन बंद की तारीख के नजदीक ये सभी goo.gl लिंक्स पर दिखाई देगी.

Warning:- First, from August 23, 2024, a warning will be given on some links. Warning, this link will stop working soon.  This warning will appear on only a few links, but closer to the closure date it will appear on all goo.gl links.

गूगल छोटे लिंक (जिनको क्लिक पर असली वाली वेबसाइट खुलती है) इस्तेमाल वाले को बता रहा है कि जल्द से जल्द इन को बदल लें. ऐसा ना से दिक्कतें आ सकती हैं. जब कोई इन छोटे लिंक्स को क्लिक करेगा, तो बीच में एक नया पन्ना खुलता है. यह पन्ना असल वेबसाइट खुलने में रुकावट डालता है और साथ ही सोशल मीडिया पर शेयर करते समय दिक्कतें पैदा कर सकता है.

Google is telling users of short links (clicking which opens the real website) to change them as soon as possible. Otherwise, problems may arise. When someone clicks these small links, a new page opens in the middle. This page interferes with the actual website opening and can also cause problems when sharing on social media.

मार्च 2019 में छोटे लिंक वाली सेवा "goo.gl" बंद का ऐलान था. कोई नया छोटा लिंक बनाना बंद कर दिया. छोटे लिंक की सलाह थी, लेकिन वो सेवा अब बंद है.

In March 2019, the closure of short link service "goo.gl" was announced. Stopped creating any new short links. Shorter link was advised, but that service is now closed.

डेवलपर्स के लिए दिक्कत है, गूगल ने एक अस्थायी तरीका है. पुराने "goo.gl" लिंक के अंत में "?si=1" लिख दें, इस बीच का दिखने वाला नया पन्ना नहीं आएगा. "goo.gl" को बंद गूगल के उन बंद हो चुके प्रोडक्ट्स में है, जिनमें गूगल+, हैंगआउट जैसे नाम हैं.

For developers facing problems, Google has come up with a temporary solution. Write "?si=1" at the end of the old "goo.gl" link, the new page appearing in between will not appear. "goo.gl" is among the discontinued products of Google, which have names like Google+, Hangouts.
