The Doctor of Philosophy degree is awarded for research work in areas recognized by the academic departments/centres of the Institute. Research work will be an original work characterized by either the discovery of facts, or new approaches towards the interpretation and application of facts, or the development of instruments, a specific advance in instrument technology. पीएचडी-कार्यक्रम प्रवेश प्रक्रिया

 (PhD-Programme Admission Process)

प्रवेश :-परीक्षा शुल्क जमा के बाद सामान्य अनुसंधान योग्यता और विषय योग्यता पर परीक्षण, योग्यता परीक्षा के व्यक्तिगत साक्षात्कार।

Admission :- Test on General Research Aptitude and Subject Aptitude, Personal Interview of Aptitude Test after deposit of examination fee.

पीएच.डी. पंजीकरण:-प्रवेश परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण बाद, पात्रता की जांच और दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन, दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के प्रथम वर्ष का पाठ्यक्रम शुल्क और पंजीकरण पात्रता प्राप्त।

PHD. Registration:-After passing the entrance exam, eligibility check and document verification, first year course fee for document verification and registration received.

कोर्स वर्क: एक सेमेस्टर कोर्स वर्क जिसमें 90 घंटे के अनिवार्य संपर्क घंटे (न्यूनतम 75% उपस्थिति अनिवार्य), पीएच.डी. को पीएचडी-पाठ्यक्रम कार्य परीक्षा में उपस्थित होगा और 60% से अधिक अंक प्राप्त होंगे अन्यथा पाठ्यक्रम कार्य अगले सेमेस्टर में दोहराएगा।

Course Work: One semester course work consisting of 90 hours of compulsory contact hours (minimum 75% attendance mandatory), Ph.D. Must appear in the PhD-course work examination and obtain more than 60% marks otherwise the course work will be repeated in the next semester.

आरडीसी या डीआरसी (रिसर्च डिग्री कमेटी): कोर्स वर्क के सफल समापन के बाद, गाइड आवंटित होगा, कोर्स वर्क परिणाम के बाद 12-24 सप्ताह के भीतर विषय और अनुसंधान प्रस्ताव की प्रस्तुति के लिए अनिवार्य उपस्थित होगा अन्यथा 5000 का जुर्माना लगाएगा, आरडीसी प्रस्तुति बाहरी परीक्षक (विषय विशेषज्ञ) में आयोजित होगी, विषय को अंतिम रूप/संशोधन,आरडीसी की तारीख के 8 सप्ताह के भीतर प्रस्तुत होगा। 5000/- का जुर्माना जमा कर आरडीसी में पुनः उपस्थित हों, विषय के संशोधन का मूल्यांकन होगा और अंतिम विषय के साथ आरडीसी का पत्र प्रकाशित होगा और साथ-साथ गाइड/पर्यवेक्षक को भेजा जाएगा।

RDC or DRC (Research Degree Committee): After successful completion of course work, guide will be allotted, compulsory to appear for presentation of topic and research proposal within 12-24 weeks after course work result otherwise a fine of Rs.5000 will be imposed, RDC The presentation will be conducted to the external examiner (subject expert), finalization/revision of the topic will be submitted within 8 weeks of the date of RDC.Appear in RDC again after depositing a fine of Rs. 5000/-, the revision of the subject will be evaluated and the RDC letter with the final subject will be published and simultaneously sent to the guide/supervisor.

सेमेस्टर वार प्रगति रिपोर्ट - I-II: आरडीसी से विषय अनुमोदन, विषय को अंतिम रूप की तारीख से 12-24 सप्ताह के भीतर काम प्रस्तुत होगा। यह प्रस्तुतिकरण आंतरिक होगा तथा विश्वविद्यालय के विषय विशेषज्ञ एवं मार्गदर्शक के समक्ष होगा।

Semester wise progress report – I-II: Subject approval from RDC, subject work to be submitted within 12-24 weeks from the date of finalization. This presentation will be internal and will be in front of the subject expert and guide of the university.

सेमेस्टर वार प्रगति रिपोर्ट - III-IV: शोध कार्य बाद, काम बाहरी परीक्षक (विषय विशेषज्ञ) के सामने प्रस्तुत होगा और काम का बचाव होगा। यह प्री-थीसिस प्रस्तुति चाहिए विषय को अंतिम रूप 36-48 सप्ताह के बीच।

Semester wise Progress Report – III-IV: After the research work, the work will be presented before the external examiner (subject expert) and the work will be defended. This pre-thesis presentation should finalize the topic between 36-48 weeks.

प्री-थीसिस सबमिशन:- अपनी थीसिस स्पाइरल बाइंडिंग (2 हार्ड कॉपी) और 2 सीडी/डीवीडी (सॉफ्ट कॉपी) में साहित्यिक चोरी रिपोर्ट के साथ परीक्षा कक्ष में जमा होगी, अनुसंधान सलाहकार समिति पहले साहित्यिक चोरी की जांच करेगी। इसे मूल्यांकनकर्ताओं को भेजना।

Pre-Thesis Submission:- Will submit your thesis in spiral binding (2 hard copies) and 2 CD/DVD (soft copies) to the examination hall along with plagiarism report, Research Advisory Committee will first check for plagiarism. Sending it to the appraisers.

अंतिम वाइवा:- थीसिस का मूल्यांकन और सुधार/संशोधन तो, वाइवा/रक्षा की अंतिम तिथि सूचित होगी और बाहरी परीक्षक में थीसिस मूल्यांकनकर्ताओं में से एक को सूचित होगा, थीसिस जमा होगी अंतिम बचाव की तारीख पर या पहले परीक्षा कक्ष में हार्डबाउंड (6 प्रतियां) में।

Final Viva:- Evaluation and correction/revision of the thesis So, the last date of the viva/defense will be informed and the external examiner will inform one of the thesis evaluators, the thesis will be submitted in hardbound (6) to the examination room on the date of the final defense or before Copies).

पीएच.डी. प्रवेश श्रेणियाँ और आवश्यकताएँ पीएच.डी. श्रेणी। छात्र:-पीएचडी में प्रवेश के लिए आवेदक। कार्यक्रम को निम्न श्रेणियों में से एक के तहत वर्गीकृत होगा जिसे डीआरसी/सीआरसी द्वारा तय और अनुशंसित होगा।

PHD. Admission Categories and Requirements Ph.D. Category. Students:-Applicants for admission to Ph.D. The program will be classified under one of the following categories as decided and recommended by the DRC/CRC.

पूर्ण/अंशकालिक अनुसंधान विद्वान

 (Full/Part Time Research Scholar)

1. इन-सर्विस इंटरनल रिसर्च स्कॉलर, 2. इन-सर्विस एक्सटर्नल रिसर्च स्कॉलर।

1. In-Service Internal Research Scholar, 2. In-Service External Research Scholar.

पीएचडी प्रवेश के सामान्य पात्रता मानदंड :-आवेदक पीएचडी में प्रवेश के लिए आवेदन के पात्र के लिए उपयुक्त क्षेत्रों में निम्न योग्यताएं चाहिए। 

General Eligibility Criteria for PhD Admission:- Applicants must have the following qualifications in relevant fields to be eligible to apply for admission to the PhD.

1. 10 प्वाइंट स्केल पर 6.0 के न्यूनतम संचयी ग्रेड प्वाइंट औसत (सीजीपीए) या सामान्य, जनरल-ईडब्ल्यूएस और ओबीसी श्रेणी के लिए 60% अंकों के मास्टर डिग्री।

Master's degree with minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 6.0 on 10 point scale or 60% marks for General, Gen-EWS and OBC category.

एससी/एसटी या पीडब्ल्यूडी, न्यूनतम सीजीपीए आवश्यकताओं को 10 अंक के पैमाने पर 5.50 या 55% अंकों तक कम है, बेसिक साइंस में पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट या प्रोफेशनल कोर्स में ग्रेजुएट/पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट डिग्री निम्न में वर्णित है :-जिन विद्वानों का चयन राष्ट्रीय पात्रता परीक्षा-यूजीसी नेट है, जिसमें लेक्चरशिप (सहायक प्रोफेसरशिप) और गेट है, एमएचआरडी और एजेंसियों और संस्थानों जैसे यूजीसी/आईआईटी/आईआईएससी/आईआईएसईआर आयोजित राष्ट्रीय स्तर परीक्षाओं से चयन प्रक्रिया।

SC/ST or PWD, minimum CGPA requirements is 5.50 on a 10 point scale or less than 55% marks, Post Graduate in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course as mentioned below:- Scholars selected on national eligibility Examination-UGC is NET, which has Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE, selection process from national level examinations conducted by MHRD and agencies and institutes like UGC/IIT/IISc/IISER.

2. केंद्रीय वित्तपोषित तकनीकी संस्थानों (सीएफटीआई) के अलावा अन्य के लिए, बी.टेक/बी.आर्क/बी.फार्म डिग्री या समकक्ष के साथ गेट/जीपीएटी/नेट स्कोर (अंक) और 10 प्वाइंट स्केल पर 7.50 का न्यूनतम सीजीपीए या 75 % अंक, चाहे श्रेणी कुछ हो। सीएफटीआई से स्नातकों, न्यूनतम सीजीपीए आवश्यकता को 10 अंक पैमाने या 70% अंकों पर 7.0 तक कम कर दिया है।

For other than Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs), B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Pharm degree or equivalent with GATE/GPAT/NET score (marks) and minimum CGPA of 7.50 on 10 point scale or 75% Marks, irrespective of the category. For graduates from CFTI, the minimum CGPA requirement is reduced to 7.0 on a 10 point scale or 70% marks.

3. यदि अंक हैं, तो वर्षों/सेमेस्टर के सीजीपीए या कुल अंकों के प्रतिशत पर विचार होगा। यदि सीजीपीए 10 अंक के पैमाने के अलावा अन्य पैमाने पर दिया है, तो 10 अंक के पैमाने पर आनुपातिक रियायत पर विचार होगा।

If there are marks, then CGPA of the years/semester or percentage of total marks will be considered. If CGPA is given on a scale other than the 10 point scale, proportionate relaxation on the 10 point scale will be considered.

4. गेट/जीपीएटी/जेआरएफ/नेट स्कोर (अंक) की आवश्यकता आईएसईआरएस या पी-आईएसआईआरएस या पी-आईएसईआरएस श्रेणी पर लागू नहीं है।

The requirement of GATE/GPAT/JRF/NET score(s) is not applicable to ISERS or P-ISIRS or P-ISERS category.

5. 10 स्केल प्वाइंट स्केल पर सीजीपीए 8.0 और अधिक के आईआईटी से स्नातक या परास्नातक गेट/जीपीएटी/जेआरएफ/नेट की आवश्यकता से छूट है।

Graduates or Masters from IITs with CGPA 8.0 and above on 10 point scale are exempted from the requirement of GATE/GPAT/JRF/NET.

6. विश्वविद्यालय में इंजीनियरिंग या वास्तुकला/योजना में मास्टर कार्यक्रम वाले के पास सीजीपीए 8.50 और अधिक है, पीएचडी में पार्श्व प्रवेश विकल्प होगा। मास्टर कार्यक्रम के पहले दो सेमेस्टर पूरे के बाद कार्यक्रम।

Those having Master's program in Engineering or Architecture/Planning in the University having CGPA 8.50 and above will have lateral entry option in Ph.D. Program after completing the first two semesters of the Master's program.

7. भारतीय विश्वविद्यालयों/संस्थान से एमबीबीएस/बीडीएस डिग्री के पास 10 अंक के पैमाने पर न्यूनतम सीजीपीए 6.0 या योग्यता डिग्री में 60% चाहिए, चाहे वह श्रेणी का हो। उन्हें गेट/जीपीएटी/जेआरएफ/नेट आवश्यकता से छूट है।

MBBS/BDS degree from Indian Universities/Institute with minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or 60% in the qualifying degree, irrespective of category. They are exempted from GATE/GPAT/JRF/NET requirement.

8. भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से मास्टर ऑफ सर्जरी (एमएस)/डॉक्टर ऑफ मेडिसिन डिग्री न्यूनतम सीजीपीए साथ गेट/जीपीएटी/जेआरएफ/नेट की आवश्यकता से छूट है।

Master of Surgery (MS)/Doctor of Medicine degree from an Indian University/Institute with minimum CGPA is exempted from the requirement of GATE/GPAT/JRF/NET.

9. विदेशी विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से मेडिसिन की डिग्री वाले राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा आयोजित विदेशी मेडिकल स्नातक परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण चाहिए।

Must have passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination conducted by the National Examination Board having a degree in Medicine from a foreign University/Institute.

10. भारत के विदेशी नागरिक (ओसीआई) / भारतीय मूल के व्यक्ति (पीआईओ) स्थिति को सामान्य श्रेणी में भारतीय नागरिकों के बराबर मानएगा।

Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)/Person of Indian Origin (PIO) status will be treated at par with Indian citizens in the general category.

नोट: (1) ओबीसी-एनसी और आर्थिक कमजोर वर्ग श्रेणी के तहत सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा जारी भारत सरकार अनुसार 31 मार्च, 2021 के बाद जारी वैध प्रमाण पत्र की एक प्रति जमा होगी। आरक्षण भारत सरकार के मानदंडों के अनुसार लागू होगा।

Note: (1) A copy of valid certificate issued after March 31, 2021 as per Government of India norms issued by the competent authority under OBC-NC and Economically Weaker Section category must be submitted. Reservation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

सेवारत बाह्य अनुसंधान विद्वानों और अंशकालिक अनुसंधान विद्वानों के जानकारी :-पंजीकरण के समय, सरकारी/अर्ध-सरकारी संगठन/सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रम, एआईसीटीई/यूजीसी से मान्यता प्राप्त शैक्षणिक संस्थान या अधिक के वार्षिक कारोबार वाली पंजीकृत कंपनी में कम से कम दो वर्ष का अनुभव चाहिए। पीएचडी के लिए नियोक्ता से अनुमति होगी। पाठ्यक्रम कार्य आवश्यकताओं को पूरा के अनुपस्थिति की पर्याप्त छुट्टी के साथ कार्यक्रम। संस्थान के 100 किमी के भीतर काम के अनुपस्थिति छुट्टी की आवश्यकता माफ है। पी-आईएसआईआरएस श्रेणी को संस्थान नियमित कर्मचारी चाहिए।

Information about serving External Research Scholars and Part-time Research Scholars: At the time of registration, minimum two years experience in a Government/Semi-Government Organization/Public Sector Undertaking, AICTE/UGC recognized educational institution or a registered company with an annual turnover of more than Rs. Need experience. There will be permission from the employer for PhD. program with adequate leave of absence to complete course work requirements. Leave of absence requirement for work within 100 km of the institute is waived.P-ISIRS category requires institute regular employees.

Course Fee Structure:-Examination Fee Rs. 5000/-, 1st year tuition fee 30000-60000/- at the time of interview, 1st year pending fee 30000-60000/- before course work examination, Guide fee and abstract submission fee 30000-60000/- before RDC , 2nd year course fee 30000-60000/- (beginning of 2nd year or 3rd semester), 2nd year course fee 30000-60000/- (beginning of 4th semester), 3rd year course fee 30000-60000/- (3rd Beginning of the year), Thesis Submission Fee Rs.20,000-30000/-, Viva Fee Rs. 10000-30000/-.
