लंबी रोड ट्रिप पर जाना है, पहले कार की ये चेक कर लें (If you want to go on a long road trip, check your car first.)

गर्मी में घूमने का प्लान हैं लेकिन, कार से लंबी दूरी का सफर तय से पहले ये चेक कर लें कि कार लंबे सफर के लिए तैयार है या नहीं. कहीं अनजानी जगह पर कार खराब हो जाए, ऐसी परेशानी से बचने के लिए ज़रूरी है कि कुछ चीज़ों को चेक कर लें.

You are planning to travel in summer but before traveling a long distance by car, check whether the car is ready for long journeys or not. To avoid such trouble if the car breaks down at an unknown place, it is important to check some things.

1. बैटरी जांच :-कार की बैटरी ज़रूरी चीज़ों में से एक है. ये ना सिर्फ कार के सारे बिजली के सामान है बल्कि इंजन को स्टार्ट में मदद करती है. अगर बैटरी खराब हो तो कहीं सड़क किनारे फंसते हैं. सफर पर निकलने से पहले बैटरी में डिस्टिल्ड पानी का लेवल चेक करें. बैटरी 3 साल से पुरानी है, तो चेक करवाना या बदलवाना अच्छा है. अच्छी बैटरी की लाइफ 5 से 7 साल है.

Battery check:-Car battery is one of the important things. It not only houses all the electrical components of the car but also helps in starting the engine. If the battery is bad then they get stuck somewhere on the roadside. Before leaving for a journey, check the level of distilled water in the battery. If the battery is older than 3 years, it is better to get it checked or replaced. The life of a good battery is 5 to 7 years.

2. एयर फिल्टर :-कई बार कार खराब से गंदे एयर फिल्टर हो सकते हैं. अगर एयर फिल्टर गंदा है, तो हवा इंजन तक नहीं पहुंचती या हवा में गंदी मिलकर इंजन में पहुंचती है. कार की माइलेज कम है और इंजन खराब होता है. एसी एयर फिल्टर गंदा होने पर एसी सही से काम नहीं कर पाएगा. अगर एयर फिल्टर को हाई-पावर वैक्यूम क्लीनर से साफ कर लें. अगर गंदा है, तो बदलवाना ही बेहतर है.

Air Filter:-Sometimes the car may have a dirty air filter. If the air filter is dirty, the air does not reach the engine or the dirty air gets mixed with it and reaches the engine. The mileage of the car is low and the engine breaks down. If the AC air filter is dirty, the AC will not be able to function properly. If you clean the air filter with a high-power vacuum cleaner. If it is dirty, it is better to get it replaced.

3. फ्यूल टैंक :-लंबी ट्रिप पर निकलने से पहले फ्यूल टैंक को भरवाना तो वैसे समझदारी की बात है. आधे टैंक से कम फ्यूल लेकर चल रहे हैं, तो अगले पेट्रोल पंप पर रुककर टैंक फुल करवा लें. अगर सुनसान इलाके से निकल रहे हैं, तो एडिशनल फ्यूल कैन साथ फायदेमंद है.

Fuel Tank:- It is wise to fill the fuel tank before leaving on a long trip. If you are traveling with less than half the tank of fuel, then stop at the next petrol pump and get the tank filled. If you are leaving from a deserted area, then carrying an additional fuel can is beneficial.

4. ऑल लिक्विड टॉप अप :-कार में कई लिक्विड डाले हैं, इंजन ऑयल, इंजन कूलेंट, ब्रेक ऑयल, ट्रांसमिशन फ्लुइड, रेडिएटर कूलेंट, विंडशील्ड फ्लुइड और पावर स्टीयरिंग फ्लुइड हैं. सफर पर निकलने से पहले अच्छे मैकेनिक को कार दिखा लिक्विड्स को चेक और टॉप अप करवा लें.

All Liquid Top Up:-There are many liquids in the car, engine oil, engine coolant, brake oil, transmission fluid, radiator coolant, windshield fluid and power steering fluid. Before setting out on a journey, take the car to a good mechanic and get the fluids checked and topped up.

5. ब्रेक पैड्स चेक :-ब्रेक कार का सेफ्टी फीचर है, लंबी ट्रिप पर जाने से पहले ब्रेक पैड्स को चेक करवाए. कार के चारों पहियों के ब्रेक पैड्स को अच्छे मैकेनिक को दिखाएं और वो घिस चुके हैं तो बदलवा लें.

Brake Pads Check:- Brake is a safety feature of the car, get the brake pads checked before going on a long trip. Show the brake pads of all four wheels of the car to a good mechanic and if they are worn, get them replaced.

6. टायरों जांच :-लंबी ट्रिप पर निकलने से पहले चारों टायरों और स्पेयर व्हील के टायर में एयर प्रेशर चेक कर लें. सही एयर प्रेशर के लिए कार यूजन मैनुअल और एयर प्रेशर रखे.

Tire check: Before leaving on a long trip, check the air pressure in all four tires and the tire of the spare wheel. For correct air pressure, keep the car usage manual and air pressure.
