All the windows of the car have to be opened so that there is no excessive heat inside the cabin. Leave the heater on with full blower speed for 15 to 20 minutes. The temperature in the AC vents will increase, due to which the bacteria will die. The only expense involved is that the car will burn petrol or diesel (the fuel used) for 15 to 20 minutes.
