सीरीज हाईब्रिड टेक्नोलॉजी और टेक्नोलॉजी के फायदे (Series Hybrid Technology and Technology Benefits)

ऑटोमोबाइल इंडस्ट्री इलेक्ट्रिक कारों की तरफ बढ़ रही है लेकिन असलियत है कि हाइब्रिड कारें ग्राहकों को ज्यादा पसंद आ रहे हैं और इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल्स की तुलना में ज्यादा बिक रही हैं. भारत हाइब्रिड मॉडलों कम हैं. हाइब्रिड कारें की मांग में बढ़ोतरी के पीछे मारुति सुजुकी और टोयोटा जैसी कंपनियां हैं, जो ज्यादातर दूसरी कंपनियों के उलट सीधे इलेक्ट्रिक कार बाजार में नहीं कूद रही हैं. मारुति सुजुकी खुद की सीरीज हाईब्रिड टेक्नोलॉजी पर काम कर रही है. मारुति सुजुकी के नई सीरीज हाइब्रिड पावरट्रेन को बनाने में सीरीज-पैरलल और पैरलल-ओनली हाइब्रिड की तुलना में कम खर्च आता है.

सीरीज हाइब्रिड पावरट्रेन :-सीरीज हाइब्रिड टेक्नोलॉजी में पेट्रोल इंजन केवल जनरेटर या रेंज एक्सटेंडर के तौर पर काम है. सीधे कार को चलाने के बजाय, बिजली पैदा करेगा, जिससे इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर चलेगी और इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर से पावर कार के व्हील्स को जाएगी, जिससे कार चलेगी. सीरीज हाइब्रिड को बनाने में कम खर्च है क्योंकि इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर ही कार के पहियों को चलाती है, बिल्कुल इलेक्ट्रिक कार की तरह. यह मोटर बिजली को या तो छोटे बैटरी पैक से या इंजन से चलने वाले जनरेटर से लेती है. सीरीज हाइब्रिड में सीरीज-पैरलल और पैरलल-ओनली हाइब्रिड की तुलना में जटिल गियरबॉक्स की जरूरत नहीं है.

Instead of driving the car directly, it will generate electricity, which will run the electric motor and the power from the electric motor will go to the wheels of the car, which will run the car. Series hybrids cost less to manufacture because the electric motor drives the wheels of the car, just like an electric car.This motor draws power either from a small battery pack or from a generator running on the engine. Series hybrids do not require complex gearboxes compared to series-parallel and parallel-only hybrids.

यानी, मैकेनिक्स सिंपल रहता है और इसी के बनाने का खर्च कम है. सीरीज हाइब्रिड टेक्नोलॉजी को "रेंज एक्सटेंडर हाइब्रिड" कहा है क्योंकि IC इंजन सिर्फ जनरेटर में काम है, जो बैटरी को रिचार्ज करता है.

 फायदे (Benefits)

सीरीज हाइब्रिड के कई फायदे हैं, जो अच्छा ऑप्शन बनाते हैं. पहले आईसी  इंजन और व्हील्स के बीच सीधा मैकेनिकल लिंक न होने से पूरा पावरट्रेन डिज़ाइन सिंपल हो जाता है. यह हाइब्रिड कारों के लिए ज्यादा किफायती ऑप्शन है. 

The Series Hybrid has many advantages, which make it a good option. The absence of a direct mechanical link between the IC engine and the wheels simplifies the entire powertrain design. This is a more economical option for hybrid cars.

साथ ही, इससे मेंटेनेंस का खर्च भी कम हो सकता है और कार ज्यादा रिलायबल बन सकती है. ये सभी छोटी कारों के लिए जरूरी चीजें हैं. सिटी यूज में अच्छी एफिशिएंसी मिलती है, उन जगहों पर जहां ज्यादा ट्रैफिक है और रुक-रुककर चलना पड़त है.

Besides, this can also reduce maintenance costs and make the car more reliable. These are all essential things for small cars. Good efficiency is available in city use, in places where there is more traffic and one has to walk intermittently.

हालांकि, सीरीज हाइब्रिड कारें हाईवे पर उतनी एफिशिएंट नहीं हैं क्योंकि इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर से ही कार चलाती है और ऐसे में ज्यादा बिजली बनाने के लिए पेट्रोल इंजन को ज्यादा मेहनत करती है. लंबी दूरी की यात्रा के लिए पैरलल हाइब्रिड कारें ज्यादा एफिशिएंट होती हैं, तेज रफ्तार और लगातार चलने के दौरान. 

However, series hybrid cars are not as efficient on the highway because the car is powered by an electric motor and thus makes the petrol engine work harder to produce more power. Parallel hybrid cars are more efficient for long distance travel, at high speed and during continuous driving.

ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि पैरलल हाइब्रिड में पेट्रोल इंजन और इलेक्ट्रिक मोटर, दोनों मिलकर कार को चलाते हैं. लेकिन, पैरलल हाइब्रिड में ज्यादा जटिल ट्रांसमिशन की जरूरत है.

This is because in parallel hybrid, both the petrol engine and the electric motor together drive the car. t, parallel hybrid requires a more complex transmission.
