केबिन में गंदी :-लंबे समय के लिए कार पार्क करने में एक खतरा चूहों का रहता है. एक ही जगह कार ज्यादा दिन खड़ी रहती है तो चूहे घर बना लेते हैं. हालांकि, कुछ हद तक साफ-सफाई बचाती है. कार को पार्क करें तो उसके केबिन में गंदगी ना हो, उसे साफ करें, खाने-पीने की कोई चीज केबिन के अंदर ना रहे. इन चीजों का ध्यान होगा.

बैटरी :-जब कार लंबे समय के लिए पार्क हो तो पावर सप्लाई को काट दें. यानी, कार की बैटरी का कनेक्शन हटा दें. ऐसा बैटरी को कार में ही रखा रहने दे सकते हैं या फिर उसे बाहर निकालकर घर पर रख सकते हैं. अगर संभव हो तो कार को हर 10-15 दिन में स्टार्ट करके थोड़ी देर चलाएं, ताकि बैटरी खत्म न हो. यह अच्छी प्रैक्टिस रहेगी.
