फोन पर अप्रैल से बंद कॉल फॉर्वर्डिंग सर्विस, सरकार ने लिया फैसला (Call forwarding service on phones stopped from April, government took decision)

दूरसंचार विभाग ने दूरसंचार ऑपरेटरों से 15 अप्रैल से यूएसएसडी-आधारित कॉल फ़ॉरवर्डिंग को सस्पेंड  और फिर से एक्टिव के लिए अल्टेरनेटिव यूज को अपनाने के लिए है. मोबाइल फोन स्क्रीन पर कोई एक्टिव कोड डायल कर यूएसएसडी सेवा का उपयोग करते हैं. इस सेवा का इस्तेमाल अक्सर आईएमईआईनंबर और मोबाइल फोन बैलेंस समेत अन्य चीजों की जांच के लिए है.

The Department of Telecommunications has asked telecom operators to suspend USSD-based call forwarding from April 15 and adopt alternative uses for reactivation. Use USSD service by dialing an active code on the mobile phone screen. This service is often used to check IMEI number and mobile phone balance among other things.

स्कैम से बचाने के लिए फैसला :-यह आदेश मोबाइल फोन के जरिए वाली धोखाधड़ी और ऑनलाइन अपराधों पर लगाम के लिए जारी है. 28 मार्च के एक आदेश में, डीओटी  ने कहा कि यह संज्ञान में है कि यूएसएसडी (अनस्ट्रक्चर्ड सप्लीमेंट्री सर्विस डेटा) आधारित कॉल फ़ॉरवर्डिंग सुविधा, जिसे बिना शर्त कॉल फ़ॉरवर्डिंग सेवाओं के लिए जाना जाता है, *401# सेवाओं का कुछ गलत कामों में इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है. बता दें कि इस सर्विस के जरिए लाखों की धोखाधड़ी की जा रही है. सरकार इसे लेकर एक्शन मोड में आ गई है और ये सर्विस 15 अप्रैल से अगले आदेश तक बंद रहेगी.

साइबर क्राइम :-डीओटी  ने जो फैसला है उसका मकसद स्कैमर्स पर लगाम लगाना है. साइबर क्राइम्स पर लगाम लगेगा. एसएसएसडी (अनस्ट्रक्चर्ड सप्लीमेंट्री सर्विस डेटा) आधारित कॉल फॉरवर्डिंग सर्विस का गलत इस्ते इस्तेमाल होना सरकार की नजरों में आने के बाद ये आदेश जारी है और इसी क्रम में 15 अप्रैल से कॉल फॉरवर्डिंग सर्विस सस्पेंड कर दी जाएगी.
