कार के ये मॉडिफिकेशन्स कटवागे गाड़ी चालान! कहीं आपने तो नहीं करवाया (These modifications of the car will get the vehicle challan deducted! You didn't get it done somewhere?)

भारत में कार मॉडिफिकेशन का चलन बढ़ रहा है. लोग कार को स्टाइलिश और अट्रैक्टिव के लिए कई तरह के बदलाव करते हैं. कार मॉडिफिकेशन के कुछ बदलाव गैरकानूनी हैं और इन लिए पुलिस चालान काटती है.

The trend of car modification is increasing in India. People make many changes to the car to make it stylish and attractive. Some changes in car modification are illegal and police issue challan for these.

भारतीय मोटर वाहन अधिनियम, 1988 अनुसार, कार में कोई भी ऐसा बदलाव नहीं किया है जो रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट पर मैन्युफैक्चरर द्वारा बताई डिटेल्स से अलग हो. इस अलावा, कार के किसी हिस्से को बदलने से पहले आरटीओ से अनुमति आवश्यक है.

As per the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, no changes have been made to the car that deviate from the details stated by the manufacturer on the registration certificate. Also, permission from RTO is required before changing any part of the car.

कार केमॉडिफिकेशन्स हैं जो गैरकानूनी हैं और पुलिस चालान काट सकती है:-नंबर प्लेट बदलाव: कार की नंबर प्लेट में कोई बदलाव गैरकानूनी है। नंबर प्लेट में बदलाव के लिए आरटीओ से अनुमति आवश्यक है.

There are car modifications which are illegal and can lead to police challan:-Number plate alteration: Any alteration in the number plate of the car is illegal. Permission from RTO is required for change in number plate.

टिंटेड विंडो: कार की विंडो को पूरी तरह से काला गैरकानूनी है. टिंटेड विंडो में कम से कम 70% विजिबिलिटी चाहिए. बढ़ते क्राइम को देखते हुए ये मानक तय है. अगर विजिबिलिटी कम रहती है तो आपको भारी जुर्माना भरना पड़ता है.  

Tinted windows: It is illegal to completely darken car windows. Tinted windows require at least 70% visibility. This standard has been set in view of increasing crime. If visibility is low then you have to pay a heavy fine.

साइलेंसर बदलाव: कार के साइलेंसर में बदलाव गैरकानूनी है. साइलेंसर में बदलाव के लिए आरटीओ से अनुमति आवश्यक है. मॉडिफाइड साइलेंसर काफी तेज आवाज करते हैं साथ ही वाहन की परफॉर्मेंस पर असर डालते हैं. मॉडिफाइड साइलेंसर के साथ पकड़ता है तो हजारों रुपये का चालान कटवाता है. 

Silencer Modification: Modification of the silencer of a car is illegal. Permission from RTO is required for changes in the silencer. Modified silencers make very loud noise and also affect the performance of the vehicle. If caught with a modified silencer, he gets fined worth thousands of rupees.

बड़े टायर: कार के टायर का साइज निर्धारित मानक से अधिक गैरकानूनी है. टायर का साइज निर्धारित मानक से अधिक पर कार का वजन बढ़ता है और कार हैंडलिंग प्रभावित है.

Large tyres: The size of a car's tire exceeds the prescribed standard which is illegal. If the tire size exceeds the prescribed standard, the weight of the car increases and the car handling is affected.

मॉडिफिकेशन्स अलावा, कार में कोई ऐसा बदलाव गैरकानूनी है जो कार की सुरक्षा या प्रदर्शन को प्रभावित हो. कार में कोई मॉडिफिकेशन करवाने सोच रहे हैं तो यह सुनिश्चित कर लें कि वह गैरकानूनी नहीं है. इस लिए आरटीओ से संपर्क कर सकते हैं.
