इससे शीशों पर गर्म हवा डालती है. कार के शीशों पर गर्म हवा डालने से वह गर्म होते हैं, जिससे भाप और भॉग की परेशानी से घुटकारा मिलता है. जिन कारों में ऑटोमेटिक क्लाइमेंट कंट्रोल मिलता है, उनमें डिफॉगिंग केवल एक बटन दबाने से होती है, वहीं, कार में मैनुअल क्लाइमेंट कंट्रोल दिया है, तो ऐसे हीटर ऑन करता है और एयर के फ्योल को शीशों की ओर डायरेक्ट करता है.
