टेंपरेचर लाइट :-कार के डैशबोर्ड में इंजन टेंपरेचर वार्निंग लाइट थर्मामीटर दिखती है. कुछ कारों में इस जगह पर सिर्फ "टीईएमपी" लिखा हुआ दिखता है. इंजन टेंपरेचर वार्निंग लाइट तब जलती (प्रकाशित होना) है, कार के इंजन का टेंपरेचर, रिकमेंडेड मैक्सिमम टेंपरेचर से ज्यादा होता है. दरअसल, इंजन के अंदर रिकमेंडेड लेवल से ज्यादा टेंपरेचर पर नुकसान हो सकता है. कार में आग लगने का कारण बन सकता है और अगर आग लग गई तो उसे बुझाना मुश्किल है.

बचाव :-कार के डैशबोर्ड में इंजन टेंपरेचर वार्निंग लाइट जलने का मतलब है कि इंजन का तापमान सामान्य से अधिक है. यह गंभीर समस्या है, जो इंजन को नुकसान पहुंचाती है. ऐसे में बचाव के लिए पहले कार को रोड के साइड में पार्क कर इंजन बंद कर दें. इसमें कोई देरी ना करें क्योंकि ज्यादा देर पर आग लग सकती है. साथ ही मैकेनिक को कॉल कर पहले कार को चेक कराएं और उसके सुझाव पर कार को फिर स्टार्ट करें.
