ऑस्ट्रेलिया में पढ़ाई के लिए देना होगा पहले टेस्ट, नौकरी न मिलने पर वापस स्वदेश (To study in Australia, you will have to give a test first, if you do not get a job then you will have to return home.)

हायर स्‍टडीज़ के लिए ऑस्ट्रेलिया की इच्छा वाले स्टूडेंट्स की मुश्किलें बढ़ गई हैं। ऑस्ट्रेलिया की नई माइग्रेशन स्ट्रैटेजी अनुसार दूसरे देशों से आने वाले स्टूडेंट्स को पहले से ज्यादा मुश्किल क्‍वालिफिकेशन टेस्ट देगा। साथ स्टूडेंट्स को ऑस्ट्रेलिया में रहते हुए नौकरी नहीं मिलती है, तो वापस स्‍वदेश भेज दिया जाएगा।

विदेशी स्टूडेंट्स :-वर्तमान में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में कुल 6.5 लाख विदेशी स्टूडेंट्स पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं और वहां ये संख्या बढ़ रही है। ऐसे स्टूडेंट्स हैं जो एक कोर्स करते हुए दूसरे कोर्स के लिए अप्लाय कर स्टे बढ़ाते हैं। इस अलावा 1.5 लाख स्टूडेंट्स हैं जो एक वीजा एक्‍सटेंशन ले दूसरे स्टूडेंट वीजा पर वहां रह रहे हैं। हाल के सालों में ऑस्ट्रेलिया में एक सेशन में रिकॉर्ड 5.1 लाख विदेशी स्टूडेंट्स ने एडमिशन लिया।

बाहरी स्टूडेंट्स की बढ़ती संख्या को कम के लिए और कम योग्यता वाले को देश से बाहर का रास्ता दिखाने के लिए ऑस्ट्रेलिया ने नई माइग्रेशन स्ट्रैटेजी तैयार है। इस बाद अगले दो सालों में आने वाले दूसरे देशों स्‍टूडेंट्स की संख्या लगभग आधी का टार्गेट है। इस लिए ज्‍यादा मुश्किल क्‍वालिफिकेशन टेस्‍ट लेने और वीजा नियमों को सख्‍त के कदम उठा रहे हैं।

Foreign Students:-Currently a total of 6.5 lakh foreign students are studying in Australia and this number is increasing there. Apart from this, there are 1.5 lakh students who have taken a visa extension and are staying there on another student visa. अगर जून 2025 तक माइग्रेशन वालों की संख्या 2.5 लाख तक नहीं पहुंचती हैं तो ऑस्ट्रेलिया दूसरे कदम उठाने से पीछे नहीं हटेगा। आने वाले दिनों में यहां सरकार तय करती है कि यूनिवर्सिटी या कॉलेज कितने विदेशी स्टूडेंट्स को एडमिशन दे सकते हैं। इस अलावा स्टूडेंट वीजा की फीस बढ़ाई जा सकती है।

If the number of migrants does not reach 2.5 lakh by June 2025, Australia will not shy away from taking other steps. In the coming days, the government here will decide how many foreign students can be given admission to universities or colleges. Apart from this, student visa fees may be increased.

ऑस्ट्रेलिया-इंडिया इकोनॉमिक को-ऑपरेशन एंड ट्रेड अग्रीमेंट (ईसीटीए) से इस नई पॉलिसी का असर वहां जाने वाले भारतीय स्टूडेंट्स पर नहीं होगा। ऑस्ट्रेलियन हाई कमिश्नर फिलिप ग्रीन ने कहा कि ईसीटीए के तहत भारत और ऑस्ट्रेलिया के बीच हुए कमिटमेंट का ध्यान नई माइग्रेशन पॉलिसी में रखा जाएगा। मतलब है भारत से स्टूडेंट वीजा पर ग्रेजुएशन स्टूडेंट्स 2 साल, मास्टर्स के लिए 3 साल और पीएचडी कर स्टूडेंट्स चार साल ऑस्ट्रेलिया में रहते हैं।

This new policy will not affect Indian students going there due to Australia-India Economic Co-operation and Trade Agreement (ECTA). Australian High Commissioner Philip Green said that the commitments made between India and Australia under ECTA will be taken into account in the new migration policy. This clearly means that graduation students from India stay in Australia on student visa for 2 years, Masters for 3 years and PhD students stay in Australia for four years.
