अक्सर देखा होगा कि लॉन्ग ड्राइव के दौरान कार के अलॉय व्हील्स पर काली धूल जमती है. लेकिन आप जानते हैं कि वह काली धूल कहां से आती है या कैसे अलॉय व्हील्स जमती है? इसका बड़ा कारण ब्रेक पैड हैं. दरअसल, जब ब्रेक अप्लाई करते हैं तो ब्रेक पैड और डिस्क आपस में मिलते हैं. इनमें घिसाव होता है और जो धूल (ब्रेक पैड और डिस्क के कण) निकलती है, वह अलॉय व्हील्स पर जमती है. यह धूल काले रंग की होती है.

You must have often seen that during long drives, black dust accumulates on the alloy wheels of the car. But you know where that black dust comes from or how alloy wheels get deposited? The main reason for this is the brake pads. Actually, when the brakes are applied, the brake pad and disc come into contact with each other. These wear out and the dust that comes out (particles of brake pads and discs) gets deposited on the alloy wheels. This dust is black in colour.

वैसे तो यह धूल, अलॉय व्हील को नुकसान नहीं पहुंचाती है. लेकिन, अलॉय व्हील्स पर काली धूल से कार की खूबसूरती कम होती है. यह अलॉय व्हील्स की चमक को भी कम करता है. लॉन्ग ड्राइव के बाद अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ करना चाहिए. 

Actually, this dust does not harm the alloy wheel. But, black dust on alloy wheels reduces the beauty of the car. It also reduces the shine of alloy wheels. Alloy wheels should be cleaned after a long drive.

साफ का तरीका (Clean way)

साबुन और पानी: अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ के लिए साबुन और पानी का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. इस लिए, बाल्टी में साबुन और पानी मिला लें और फिर नरम कपड़े से अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ करें.

Soap and water: Soap and water can be used to clean alloy wheels. Therefore, mix soap and water in a bucket and then clean the alloy wheels with a soft cloth.

व्हील क्लीनर: अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ के लिए व्हील क्लीनर का इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. व्हील क्लीनर, अलॉय व्हील्स पर जमी हुई गंदगी और धूल को हटाता है.

Wheel Cleaner: Wheel cleaner can be used to clean alloy wheels. Wheel cleaner removes dirt and dust from alloy wheels.

प्रेशर वॉशर: अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ के लिए प्रेशर वॉशर का भी इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं. प्रेशर वॉशर का इस्तेमाल कर अलॉय व्हील्स पर जमी गंदगी और धूल को आसानी से हटाया जाता है.

Pressure Washer: You can also use a pressure washer to clean alloy wheels. Dirt and dust accumulated on alloy wheels can be easily removed by using a pressure washer.

रखें ख्याल (Care)

-- अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ से पहले ठंडा होने दें.

Allow alloy wheels to cool before cleaning.

-- अलॉय व्हील्स को साफ के लिए कठोर ब्रश या अन्य कठोर चीज का इस्तेमाल न करें.

Do not use hard brush or other hard objects to clean alloy wheels.

After cleaning the alloy wheels, dry them thoroughly.
