धनतेरस पर कार, बाइक/स्कूटर खरीदने पहले करें ये काम, वरना धन बर्बाद! (Do these things before buying a car, bike/scooter on Dhanteras, otherwise your money will be wasted!)

धनतेरस पर देश में लाखों व्हीकल्स की डिलीवरी होती है. अगर नए व्हीकल की डिलीवरी ले रहे तो पीडीआई जरूर करना है. पीडीआई का मतलब "प्री-डिलीवरी इंस्पेक्शन" है. ऐसा प्रोसेस है, जिसमें कार की डिलीवरी से पहले चेक करता है. कार के बाहरी और आंतरिक, दोनों हिस्सों को चेक किया है. व्हीकल डिलीरी से पहले पीडीआई जरूरी है क्योंकि यह सुनिश्चित में मदद करता है कि कार अच्छी स्थिति में है और खराबी नहीं है. अगर खुद कारों में ज्यादा जानकारी नहीं है तो पीडीआई के लिए ऐसे व्यक्ति को ले जाएं, जिसे कारों में कम से कम बेसिक जानकारी हो.

Lakhs of vehicles are delivered in the country on Dhanteras. If you are taking delivery of a new vehicle then PDI must be done. PDI stands for "Pre-Delivery Inspection". There is a process in which the car is checked before delivery. Both external and internal parts of the car have been checked. PDI is necessary before vehicle delivery as it helps in ensuring that the car is in good condition and free from defects.If you yourself do not have much knowledge about cars, then take a person for PDI who has at least basic knowledge about cars.

पीडीआई :-पीडीआई में कार की बॉडी, पेंट, विंडो, हेडलाइट्स, टेललाइट्स, इंटीरियर, सीट्स, डोर्स, पैनल्स, इंजन, ट्रांसमिशन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों जैसे- इंफोटेनमेंट सिस्टम, ऑडियो सिस्टम आदि की अच्छे से जांच की है. ध्यान रहे कि पीडीआई के लिए कार को अच्छी रोशनी में रखें और सभी हिस्सों की सावधानी के साथ चेक करें. कार में खराबी हो तो नोट कर लें. 

PDI:- In PDI, the car's body, paint, windows, headlights, taillights, interior, seats, doors, panels, engine, transmission and electronic components like infotainment system, audio system etc. are thoroughly examined. Keep in mind that for PDI, keep the car in good light and check all the parts carefully. If there is a fault in the car, make a note of it.

पीडीआई के दौरान कार में कोई खराबी पाई है, तो डीलर से शिकायत करना चाहिए. कार निर्माता या डीलर खराबी को ठीक के लिए जिम्मेदार होगा. आप डीलर से दूसरी यूनिट की डिमांड कर सकते हैं. हालांकि, अगर डीलरशिप खराबी वाली यूनिट की कोशिश करे तो शिकायत कार निर्माता कंपनी से करें क्योंकि अगर खराब कार की डिलीवरी ले तो यह पैसे की बर्बादी होगी.

If any defect is found in the car during PDI, then a complaint should be made to the dealer. The car manufacturer or dealer will be responsible for fixing the malfunction. You can demand another unit from the dealer. However, if the dealership tries to get a faulty unit then complain to the car manufacturer as it will be a waste of money if you take delivery of a faulty car.
