17 नवंबर से बिहार में छठ पूजा का महापर्व शुरू है. चार दिनों चलने वाले त्योहार में भगवान सूर्य और छठी मैया की पूजा होती है. देश-विदेश में लाखों इस त्योहार को बड़ी श्रद्धा के साथ मनाते हैं.

The great festival of Chhath Puja starts in Bihar from 17th November. Lord Surya and Chhathi Maiya are worshiped in the festival lasting four days. Millions of people in the country and abroad celebrate this festival with great devotion.

नारियल -छठ पूजा में मनोकामनाओं की पूर्ति के लिए नारियल चढ़ाते हैं. नारियल को हिंदू धर्म में पवित्र है. कोई व्यक्ति झूठा नहीं कर सकता है. नारियल को सुख-समृद्धि और सौभाग्य का प्रतीक है.

गन्ना - गन्ने को इस पूजा में चढ़ाने का विशेष महत्व है. मान्यताओं के अनुसार, इस फल को चढ़ाने से छठ मैय्या आनंद और समृद्धि प्रदान हैं.

Sugarcane - Offering sugarcane in this puja has special significance. According to beliefs, offering this fruit to Chhath Maiyya provides happiness and prosperity.

नींबू - नींबू को एक खट्टा फल माना है. इसे चढ़ाने से छठ पूजा का महत्व और बढ़ता है.
