रोक लगी फिर हटी , जानिए कितना पॉल्यूशन फैलाते हैं टू-व्हीलर (Ban imposed then lifted, know how much pollution two-wheelers spread)

दिल्ली में एयर पॉल्यूशन बढ़ गया है. इसे कंट्रोल के लिए कदम उठा रहे हैं. एयर पॉल्यूशन कम को लेकर व्हीकल्स के लिए ऑड-ईवन फॉर्मूला काफी चर्चित है. सरकार ने 13 से 20 नवंबर तक के लिए ऑड-ईवन फॉर्मूला लागू का ऐलान है. हालांकि, इसमें टू व्हीलर को छूट दी जाएगी. कई साल पहले टू व्हीलर पर लागू किया था लेकिन बाद में छूट दी थी. लेकिन, क्या टू व्हीलर कम एयर पॉल्यूशन करते हैं, जो छूट या ना देने से एयर पॉल्यूशन पर असर नहीं होगा. चलिए बताते हैं.

Air pollution has increased in Delhi. Steps are being taken to control it. The odd-even formula for vehicles is much talked about to reduce air pollution. The government has announced to implement the odd-even formula from 13 to 20 November. However, two wheelers will be exempted from this. टू व्हीलर्स को ऑड-ईवन का हिस्सा इसीलिए नहीं बनाया था क्योंकि टू व्हीलर इस्तेमाल वालों की आबादी ज्यादा है, अन्य ट्रांसपोर्ट में एडजस्ट मुश्किल है. जहां तक एयर पॉल्यूशन की बात है तो टू व्हीलर भी लगभग कारों के जितना एमिशन करती हैं. इन लिए बीएस छठी के अनुसार, सीओ (जी/किमी)- 0.5, एचसी+एनओएक्स (जी/किमी)- 0.06, पीएम (जी/किमी)- 0.005 की लिमिट तय है. इंडिया टूडे कि 2018 की एक रिपोर्ट में सेंटर फॉर साइंस एंड एनवायरमेंट की कार्यकारी निदेशक अनुमिता रॉयचौधरी ने कहा था कि टू व्हीलर लगभग 32 प्रतिशत वायु प्रदूषक उत्सर्जित हैं.

Two wheelers were not made a part of odd-even because the population of two wheeler users is high and it is difficult to adjust to other transport. As far as air pollution is concerned, two wheelers also emit almost as much emissions as cars. For these, according to BS VI, the limit of CO (g/km) – 0.5, HC+NOX (g/km) – 0.06, PM (g/km) – 0.005 is fixed. In a 2018 report by India Today, Anumita Roychowdhury, executive director of the Center for Science and Environment, had said that two-wheelers emit about 32 percent of air pollutants.

आईसीई व्हीकल्स के एमिशन में कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड, नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड, हाइड्रोकार्बन जैसी हानिकारक गैसों से साथ पार्टिकुलेट मैटर हैं. यह सभी मिलकर हवा को प्रदूषित करते हैं. कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड जहरीली गैस है. यह रंगहीन, गंधहीन, स्वादहीन और हवा से कम घनी है. यह ऑक्सीजन-सांस लेने जीवों के लिए घातक है.

Emissions from ICE vehicles include harmful gases like carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, hydrocarbons and particulate matter. All these together pollute the air. Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless and less dense than air. It is lethal to oxygen-breathing organisms.

वहीं, नाइट्रोजन ऑक्साइड ग्रीनहाउस गैसें है, जो ग्लोबल वार्मिंग को बढ़ाती है. यह आंखों और रेस्पिरेटरी सिस्टम को नुकसान पहुंचाती है.  एमिशन में मौजूद हाइड्रोकार्बन आंखों और रेस्पिरेटरी सिस्टम के लिए खतरा है. पीएम यानी पार्टिकुलेट मैटर छोटे और ठोस या तरल कण हैं, जो हवा में तैरते हैं. इनसे सांस लेने में समस्या, दिल की बीमारी और कैंसर तक होता है.

At the same time, nitrogen oxides are greenhouse gases, which increase global warming. It harms the eyes and respiratory system. Hydrocarbons present in emissions are dangerous for the eyes and respiratory system. PM i.e. particulate matter are small and solid or liquid particles, which float in the air. These cause breathing problems, heart disease and even cancer.
