दुनिया की टॉप 500 यूनिवर्सिटीज भारत में खोलेगी कैंपस, यूजीसी ने बनाए नियम (World's top 500 universities will open campuses in India, UGC made rules)

अब दुनिया की टॉप 500 यूनिवर्सिटीज में पढ़ने के लिए विदेश की जरूरत नहीं होगी। यूनिवर्सिटी ग्रांट्स कमीशन (यूजीसी) ने 8 नवंबर को देश में फॉरेन यूनिवर्सिटीज के संचालन को लेकर रेगुलेशन जारी है। अब ग्लोबल रैंकिंग में दुनिया भर में टॉप 500 यूनिवर्सिटीज देश में ब्रांच खोल सकेंगी।

Now there will be no need to go abroad to study in the top 500 universities of the world. The University Grants Commission (UGC) on November 8 issued regulations regarding the operation of foreign universities in the country. Now the top 500 universities across the world in the global ranking will be able to open branches in the country.

इन यूनिवर्सिटीज को भारत में इंडियन कैंपस खोलने के साथ खुद एडमिशन प्रोसेस और फीस स्ट्रक्चर तय और मूल देश में पैरेंट कैंपस को पैसे की अनुमति होगी।

Along with opening Indian campuses in India, these universities will decide their own admission process and fee structure and will be allowed to send money to the parent campus in the parent country.

नेशनल एजुकेशन पॉलिसी (एनईपी, 2020) के तहत सेटिंग अप एंड ऑपरेशन ऑफ कैंपसेस ऑफ फॉरेन हायर एजुकेशनल इंस्टीट्यूशन इन इंडिया, रेगुलेशन 2023 जारी हैं। इस मुताबिक दो से ज्यादा यूनिवर्सिटीज कोलैबोरेशन में इंडियन कैंपस शुरू कर सकती हैं। हर यूनिवर्सिटी को एक से ज्यादा कैंपस खोलने की अनुमति होगी।

Setting up and Operation of Campuses of Foreign Higher Educational Institutions in India, Regulations 2023 are under the National Education Policy (NEP, 2020). According to this, more than two universities can start Indian campus in collaboration. Every university will be allowed to open more than one campus.

यूनिवर्सिटी कैंपस शुरू के लिए रिसोर्सेज जैसे- जमीन, इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर, फिजिकल रिसोर्सेज एंड ह्यूमन रिसोर्सेज का इंतजाम खुद स्तर पर होगा। कैंपस शुरू के लिए फॉरेन यूनिवर्सिटीज को यूजीसी को सिर्फ वन-टाइम एप्लीकेशन फीस देगी।

For starting the university campus, the resources like land, infrastructure, physical resources and human resources will be arranged at the own level. UGC will pay only one-time application fee to foreign universities for opening the campus.

रेगुलेशन के मुताबिक यूजीसी की स्टैंडिंग कमेटी को फॉरेन यूनिवर्सिटीज के एप्लीकेशन 45 के बजाय 60 दिनों में मंजूरी देगी। ये यूनिवर्सिटीज मेरिट बेस्ड या जरूरत के हिसाब से इंडियन स्टूडेंट्स को स्कॉलरशिप या फीस में छूट देगी।

According to the regulation, the Standing Committee of the UGC will approve the applications of foreign universities in 60 days instead of 45 days. These universities will give scholarship or fee relaxation to Indian students on merit based or need basis.

इन यूनिवर्सिटीज को हर साल यूजीसी को प्रोग्राम्स, स्टूडेंट एडमिशन और पास आउट डिटेल्स की एनुअल रिपोर्ट देगी।

These universities will submit annual reports to the UGC every year regarding programmes, student admission and pass out details.
