35% भारतीय स्टूडेंट्स बढ़े यूएस में, साइंस-टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए विदेश रुख (35% increase in Indian students in US, turning abroad for science-technology)

यूएस के कॉलेजेस में कोविड के बाद इंटरनेशनल स्टूडेंट्स लौट रहे हैं जिनमें भारतीय स्टूडेंट्स भरमार है। सोमवार के रिलीज की गई एक स्टडी में सामने आया कि भारत से यूएस पढ़ाई के लिए आने वालों में 35% की बढ़त है।

साइंस, टेक्नोलॉजी, बिजनेस :-अमेरिका के कॉलेजे में 2,69,000 भारतीय स्टूडेंट्स का इस साल एडमिशन है जोकि चीन के बाद ज्यादा है। भारत से ज्यादातर स्टूडेंट्स साइंस, टेक्नोलॉजी और बिजनेस के ग्रेजुएट प्रोग्राम के लिए यूएस गए। यूएस स्टेट डिपार्टमेंट के अकेडमिक एक्सचेंज की एक्टिंग डिप्टी असिसटेंट सेक्रेटरी मैरियाना क्रेवेन ने कहा, ‘एजुकेशन में यूएस का भारत के साथ एक मजबूत रिश्ता है। जो समय के साथ और गहरा है।’

Science, Technology, Business:- 2,69,000 Indian students have taken admission in American colleges this year, which is more after China. Most of the students from India go to US for graduate programs in science, technology and business. भारत से यूएस वाले स्टूडेंट्स में ज्यादातर साइंस और टेक्नोलॉजी की पढ़ाई के लिए हैं। यह हाल है एशिया यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में टॉप 10 भारतीय यूनिवर्सिटीज में सात आईआईटी और 1 आईआईएस है। यानी भारत में बेहतरीन साइंस और टेक्नोलॉजी की शिक्षा के बावजूद स्टूडेंट्स यूएस या दूसरी विदेशी यूनिवर्सिटीज का रुख हैं।

Most of the students from India to US are studying science and technology. This is the situation, in the Asia University Rankings there are seven IITs and one IIS among the top 10 Indian universities. This means that despite the best science and technology education in India, students are moving towards US or other foreign universities.

स्टेट्स :-इलिनोइस, टेक्सस और मिशिगन समेत यूएस के 24 स्टेट्स में भारतीय स्टूडेंट्स की संख्या चीन के स्टूडेंट्स से ज्यादा है। स्टेट्स में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्टूडेंट्स की पसंसदीदा टॉप कॉलेजेस हैं।

States:- In 24 states of the US including Illinois, Texas and Michigan, the number of Indian students is more than that of Chinese students. These are the top colleges preferred by international students in the States.

वहीं, चीन से इस साल यूएस जाने स्टूडेंट्स की संख्या 2.90 लाख के साथ ज्यादा रही। मगर साल दर साल चीन से यहां आने वाले स्टूडेंट्स की संख्या में लगातार गिरावट मिल रही है। अकेडमिक ईयर 2022-23 में 12% ज्यादा इंटरनेशनल स्टूडेंट्स यूएस पढ़ने के लिए आए। यह संख्या पिछले 40 सालों के मुकाबले किसी साल होने वाली बढ़त में ज्यादा है। स्टडी वाले नॉन प्रॉफिट ऑर्गेनाइजेशन इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंटरनेशनल एजुकेशन के सीईओ गुडमैन ने कहा, ‘इस स्टडी से ये है कि विदेश में पढ़ने की इच्छा वाले अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्टूडेंट्स के लिए यूएस पसंदीदा है।’

At the same time, the number of students from China going to US this year was higher at 2.90 lakh. But year after year the number of students coming here from China is continuously declining. In the academic year 2022-23, 12% more international students came to study in the US.
