आकार और वजन :- डीजल इंजन, पेट्रोल इंजन में बड़े हैं. बाइक छोटा व्हीकल है. ऐसे में डीजल इंजन को बाइक में अच्छा फिट करना भी चुनौती जैसा होगा. साथ ही, पेट्रोल इंजन की तुलना में डीजल इंजन भारी हैं, जिससे यह बाइक की परफॉर्मेंस को प्रभावित करता है.

Size and Weight:- Diesel engines are larger than petrol engines. Bike is a small vehicle. In such a situation, fitting the diesel engine properly in the bike will also be a challenge. Also, diesel engines are heavier than petrol engines, which affects the performance of the bike.

निर्माण और कंप्रेशन :- पेट्रोल इंजन की तुलना में डीजल इंजन अधिक जटिल हैं. इन्हें बनाने की लागत ज्यादा है, जिससे बाइक की कीमत बड़ जाएगी. डीजल इंजन का कंप्रेशन रेशियो ज्यादा है, जिससे यह ज्यादा वाइब्रेशन और ज्यादा आवाज करते हैं. 

Construction and Compression:- Diesel engines are more complex than petrol engines. The cost of making them is high, which will increase the price of the bike. The compression ratio of diesel engine is high, due to which it produces more vibration and more noise.

रखरखाव :- डीजल इंजन हाई प्रेशर पर काम करता है इसलिए डीजल इंजन में टूट-फूट का खतरा अधिक है. पेट्रोल इंजन की तुलना में डीजल इंजन को ज्यादा रखरखाव की जरूरत है. इससे बाइक की मेंटेनेंस कॉस्ट बढ़ती है.

Maintenance:- Diesel engine works at high pressure, hence the risk of wear and tear is high in diesel engine. Diesel engines require more maintenance than petrol engines. This increases the maintenance cost of the bike.

परफॉर्मेंस :-डीजल इंजन, पेट्रोल इंजन की तुलना में अधिक टॉर्क जनरेट हैं लेकिन कम आरपीएम होते हैं. जिन बाइक्स में हाई स्पीड या ज्यादा परफॉर्मेंस की जरूरत है, वहां ज्यादा आरपीएम और पावर चाहिए हैं, ऐसे में डीजल इंजन ज्यादा उपयुक्त नहीं हैं.

Performance:-Diesel engines generate more torque than petrol engines but have lower RPM. Diesel engines are not suitable for bikes that require high speed or high performance, where high RPM and power are required.

प्रदूषण :- डीजल इंजन, पेट्रोल इंजन की तुलना में अधिक प्रदूषण हैं, जो लोगों और आसपास के वातावरण के लिए हानिकारक है. इसीलिए, कारों में भी डीजल को छोड़ने की दिशा में काम चल रहा है.

Pollution:- Diesel engines are more polluting than petrol engines, which is harmful for people and the surrounding environment. That is why work is going on to abandon diesel in cars also.
