A large family needs a car that has enough space for everyone. But, when buying big-seater cars for big families, they are expensive (5-seater). However, this is not the case with Maruti Ertiga. There is an option for large families.

भारत की बेस्ट सेलिंग एमपीवी की शुरुआती कीमत 8.64 लाख रुपये है, जो टॉप वेरिएंट के लिए 13.08 लाख रुपये (एक्स-शोरूम) तक है. यह कीमत ब्रेजा (8.29-14.14 लाख रुपये) के लगभग बराबर है, जो एक 5-सीटर एसयूवी है और मुकाबले केबिन में कम स्पेस ऑफर है. इतना नहीं, दोनों में इंजन समान है. 

The starting price of this best selling MPV of India is Rs 8.64 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.08 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top variant. This price is almost at par with the Brezza (Rs 8.29-14.14 lakh), which is a 5-seater SUV and offers less space in the cabin. Not only this, the engine is similar in both.

इंजन और माइलेज (Engine and Mileage)

अर्टिगा में 1.5-लीटर डुअलजेट पेट्रोल इंजन है, जिसे माइल्ड हाइब्रिड टेक्नोलॉजी से जोड़ा है. इसमें फैक्ट्री फिटेड सीएनजी का ऑप्शन मिलता है. इसका इंजन पेट्रोल पर 103 पीएस पावर और 136.8 एनएम टॉर्क जबकि सीएनजी किट पर 88 पीएस पावर और 121.5 एनएम टॉर्क जनरेट करता है. 

Ertiga has a 1.5-litre DualJet petrol engine, which is linked with mild hybrid technology. Factory fitted CNG option is available in it. Its engine generates 103 PS power and 136.8 Nm torque on petrol while 88 PS power and 121.5 Nm torque on CNG kit.

वैसे इंजन के साथ दो ट्रांसमिशन ऑप्शन- 5-स्पीड मैनुअल और 6-स्पीड टॉर्क कन्वर्टर ऑटोमेटिक हैं लेकिन सीएनजी वेरिएंट में केवल 5-स्पीड मैनुअल गियरबॉक्स आता है. पेट्रोल पर 20.51 kmpl का जबकि सीएनजी पर 26.11 किलोमीटर प्रति किलोग्राम तक का माइलेज है.

Although there are two transmission options with the engine - 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic, but the CNG variant only comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The mileage on petrol is 20.51 kmpl while on CNG the mileage is up to 26.11 kmpl.
