बदल रहा हाईवे पर टोल लेने तरीका, सरकार बड़ा ऐलान (The way of taking toll on the highway is changing, the government made a big announcement)

    अगर अक्सर हाईवे पर कार के जरिए सफर करते हैं तो खुशखबरी है. अब टोल टैक्स पर खर्च होने वाला समय और भी कम हो रहा है. सरकार बैरियर-रहित टोल कलेक्शन सिस्टम शुरू की योजना है. नई स्कीम आने पर वाहन चालकों को टोल बूथ पर आधा मिनट के लिए भी खड़ा नहीं होगा.परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग राज्यमंत्री वी के सिंह ने यह जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि बैरियर-रहित टोल संग्रह प्रणाली का इस समय परीक्षण है. ‘‘हमारा परीक्षण सफल इसे जल्द लागू कर देंगे.’’

If you often travel by car on the highway, then there is good news. Now the time spent on toll tax is reducing even more. Government plans to introduce barrier-free toll collection system. When the new scheme comes, the drivers will not have to stand at the toll booth even for half a minute. Giving this information, Minister of State for Transport and Highways VK Singh said that the barrier-less toll collection system is currently on trial. "Our test is successful, we will implement it soon."

देश में सड़कों पर तय दूरी के आधार पर टोल भुगतान की व्यवस्था लागू की जाएगी.  टोल संग्रह की नई व्यवस्था लागू होने पर इसकी दक्षता बढ़ेगी और यात्रा के समय में कमी आएगी. वाहनों में फास्टैग के इस्तेमाल से टोल बूथ पर  समय घटकर 47 सेकंड रह गया है लेकिन सरकार कटौती करते हुए इसे 30 सेकंड से नीचे लाना चाहती है.

Toll payment system will be implemented on the basis of fixed distance on the roads in the country. When the new system of toll collection is implemented, its efficiency will increase and travel time will decrease. The use of FASTag in vehicles has reduced the time at the toll booth to 47 seconds, but the government wants to cut it down to 30 seconds.

दिल्ली-मेरठ एक्सप्रेसवे पर पायलट (प्रायोगिक) परीक्षण जारी है जिसमें सैटेलाइट और कैमरा आधारित प्रौद्योगिकी का इस्तेमाल किया है. ‘‘जब किसी राजमार्ग पर प्रवेश करते हैं और वाहन पर लगी पंजीकरण संख्या को वहां लगा कैमरा स्कैन करता है तो आधार पर पता है कि टोल बूथ तक पहुंचने के लिए कितने किलोमीटर लंबा सफर तय है.’’

Pilot (experimental) testing is going on on Delhi-Meerut Expressway in which satellite and camera based technology has been used. "When entering a highway and scanning the vehicle's registration number by a camera installed there, it is known on the basis of how many kilometers one has to travel to reach the toll booth."

‘‘यह मौजूदा व्यवस्था से अलग है जिसमें कोई लेना-देना नहीं होता है कि राजमार्ग पर कितना किलोमीटर सफर तय किया है. यह भुगतान टोल के नियमों पर आधारित है.’’

“This is different from the present system which has nothing to do with how many kilometers have been traveled on the highway. This payment is based on the rules of toll.

मौजूदा सरकार के दूरसंचार समेत तमाम क्षेत्रों में किए गए कार्यों से ही ऐसी प्रगति है. दूरसंचार नेटवर्क में सुधार होने से टोल प्लाजा पर वाहनों के आंकड़े जुटाने में मदद मिल रही है.

Such progress is due to the works done by the present government in all the sectors including telecommunication. Improvement in telecommunication network is helping in collecting data of vehicles at toll plaza.
