आईएमटी कारें अपडेट: बिना क्लच वाली मैनुअल कार? समझें (IMT Cars Update: Manual car with no clutch? understand)

आईएमटी यानी इंटेलिजेंट मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन, यह मैनुअल और ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन के बीच की टेक्नोलॉजी है, जो भारत में हुंडई और किआ की कारों मे है. आईएमटी में मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन की तरह क्लच तो है लेकिन ऑटोमैटिक तरीके से सेल्फ-एक्चुएटिंग क्लच होता है. ड्राइवर को क्लच पेडल मैनुअली दबाने की जरूरत नहीं है और इसीलिए क्लच पेडल नहीं दिया जाता है. लेकिन, गियर मैनुअली बदलता है.

IMT ie Intelligent Manual Transmission, it is a technology between manual and automatic transmission, which is in Hyundai and Kia cars in India. The IMT has the same clutch as the manual transmission but with an automatic self-actuating clutch. The driver does not need to press the clutch pedal manually and hence a clutch pedal is not provided. But, the gear changes manually.

आईएमटी ड्राइवरों के लिए मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन में आरामदायक है और ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन में किफायती है. उदाहरण के लिए बताएं तो हुंडई वेन्यू और किआ सोनेट में आईएमटी है.  कई कारें हैं, जिनमें आईएमटी है.  ट्रिम के मैनुअल वेरिएंट  में आईएमटी वेरिएंट 20 से 30000 रुपये महंगा है जबकि ऑटोमेटिक ट्रांसमिशन वाला वेरिएंट 1 लाख रुपये तक महंगा है.

IMT is comfortable for the drivers in manual transmission and economical in automatic transmission. For example, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet have IMT. There are many cars which have IMT. The IMT variant is costlier by Rs 20 to 30,000 in the manual variant of the trim while the variant with automatic transmission is costlier by Rs 1 lakh.

जब ड्राइवर गियर को बदलने के लिए गियर शिफ्टर को मूव करता है, तो गियर शिफ्टर के साथ जुड़ा सेंसर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिग्नल भेजता है, जिससे क्लच सेल्फ-एक्चुएट है. यह प्रोसेस बहुत तेजी से है. क्लच दबने के बाद ड्राइवर गियर बदलते हैं. अगर स्पीड के अनुपात में छोटे या बड़े गियर में हैं तो ड्राइवर डिस्प्ले इंडिकेशन है, जहां गियर अपशिफ्ट या डाउनशिफ्ट करने का मैसेज है. हालांकि, इसके कारण इंजन बंद नहीं होता है.

When the driver moves the gear shifter to change gears, a sensor attached to the gear shifter sends an electronic signal, causing the clutch to self-actuate. This process is very fast. Drivers change gears after the clutch is pressed. If the gear is in a higher or lower gear in proportion to the speed, then there is a driver display indication, where there is a message to upshift or downshift. However, this does not cause the engine to stop.

आईएमटी के फायदे (Advantages of IMT)

1. मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन में आरामदायक ड्राइविंग अनुभव है. ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि ड्राइवर को क्लच पेडल को मैनुअली दबाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है.

 Manual transmission has comfortable driving experience. This is because the driver does not need to manually depress the clutch pedal.

2. ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन में आईएमटी अधिक किफायती है. इसलिए है क्योंकि आईएमटी में ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन की तरह सेटअप नहीं है.

IMT is more economical in automatic transmission. This is because the IMT is not setup like an automatic transmission.
