फायदे (Benefits)

आसान: मैनुअल कारों की तुलना में ऑटोमैटिक कारों को इस्तेमाल आसान है. इस कम ड्राइवर इनपुट लगते हैं. ड्राइवर को कार चलाने के लिए गियर बदलने नहीं पड़ते, यह काम कार खुद करती है.

Ease: Automatic cars are easier to use than manual cars. This takes less driver input. The driver does not have to change gears to drive the car, the car itself does this work.

गियर शिफ्टिंग: मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन के मुकाबले ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन स्मूथ है, इसमें गियर ज्यादा स्मूथली शिफ्ट हैं. गियरशिफ्ट होने पर जर्क महसूस नहीं है.

Gear Shifting: The automatic transmission is smoother as compared to the manual transmission, the gears shift more smoothly. No jerk is felt when gearshifting.

सेफ्टी: क्योंकि ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन वाली कारों में ड्राइवर को गियर शिफ्ट पर ध्यान नहीं देना होता इसीलिए दोनों हाथों को लगातार स्टीयरिंग व्हील पर रखकर पूरा ध्यान सड़क और ड्राइविंग पर देते हैं.

नुकसान (Harm)

कॉस्ट: ऑटोमेटिक ट्रांसमिशन वाली कारें मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन में ज्यादा महंगी हैं. ऑटोमेटिक ट्रांसमिशन में खराबी आने पर उसे ठीक कराने या बदलवाने का खर्चा ज्यादा है. 

Cost: Cars with automatic transmission are more expensive than those with manual transmission. In case of fault in the automatic transmission, the cost of getting it repaired or replaced is high.

कम कंट्रोल: ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन कारों में ड्राइवर का वाहन के एक्सीलेरेशन पर कम कंट्रोल रहता है क्योकि कार खुद गियर शिफ्ट कर रहती है, जो कुछ ड्राइविंग स्थितियों में परेशानी भरा है.

Less Control: In automatic transmission cars, the driver has less control over the acceleration of the vehicle as the car itself shifts gears, which can be troublesome in certain driving conditions.

कम परफॉर्मेंस: ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन उतना बेहतर रिस्पॉन्स नहीं देते जितना मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन देते हैं. हालांकि, टेक्नोलॉजी बढ़ रही है और ऑटोमैटिक ट्रांसमिशन बेहतर  हैं.

Poor Performance: Automatic transmissions do not respond as well as manual transmissions. However, technology is on the rise and automatic transmissions are better.
