कारण (Reasons)

ऑटो साइज : ऑटो को सड़कों से छोटे गली-मोहल्लों में जाने के लिए डिजाइन किया है. फ्रंट एरिया चौकोर के बजाय थोड़ा तिकोना टाइप रखा है, जिससे कहीं पार्क करने, तंग जगहों से गुजरने और चलाने में आसानी हो. यह सब तभी हो सकते थे, जब फ्रंट में केवल एक पहिया रखा जाता. वजह है कि ऑटो को चौपहिया के बजाय तिपहिया बनाया. 

Auto Size: The auto is designed to go off road and into small by-lanes. The front area is slightly triangular instead of square, so that it is easier to park, pass through tight places and drive. All this could have happened only if only one wheel was kept at the front. The reason is that the auto was made a three wheeler instead of a four wheeler.

लागत : छोटी चौपहिया गाड़ियों में ऑटो कम खर्च में आता है और मेनटिनेंस कोस्ट कम है. ऑटो में 4 पहिये लगा दिए तो फिर कीमत बढ़ती, जिससे वे आम आदमी की रेंज से बाहर होते और उन्हें पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट का सपना अधूरा रहता. 

Cost: Auto costs less in small four wheelers and the maintenance cost is less. If 4 wheels were put in the auto, then the cost would increase, due to which they would be out of the range of the common man and their dream of public transport would remain unfulfilled.

ईंधन : ऑटो में तीन पहिये हैं और अंदर का सारा हिस्सा खुलता है. इसके चलते हवा का प्रतिरोध बहुत कम होता है. जिससे उन्हें कम शक्ति में ही आसानी से आगे मूव करवाता है. तिपहिये होने से ईंधन की खपत कम होती है. 

Fuel : The auto has three wheels and the entire interior is openable. Due to this the air resistance is very less. Due to which it makes them move forward easily in less power. Being a three wheeler, the fuel consumption is less.

आगे- पीछे : संकरे इलाकों में आगे-पीछे या दाहिने-बायें मोड़ने के लिए ऑटो का अगला हिस्सा छोटा रखा और 2 के बजाय एक ही टायर रखा. बिना किसी दिक्कत के मूव कर सके. ऐसे संकरे इलाकों में चौपहिया होने से छोटी नैनो कार तक फंस जाती हैं. 

Front-rear: The front end of the auto was kept short and a single tire instead of 2 was used to make forward-backward or right-left turns in narrow areas. Could move without any problem. Being a four-wheeler in such narrow areas, even a small Nano car gets stuck.
