गर्मी के मौसम में घर में रहें, ऑफिस में रहें, या कार में, एसी का इस्तेमाल तो जरूर करते होंगे. कार में एसी के लिए ढेर सारी सेटिंग्स दी हैं, लेकिन अधिकतर इसमें पता नहीं होता. कार में एसी के लिए दो नोब  दिए हैं, जिनमें से एक के जरिए तापमान को ठंडा या गरम करते हैं. जबकि दूसरे नॉब में कुछ सिंबल बनते हैं. समझते हैं कि किस सिंबल का क्या मतलब है.

डैशबोर्ड वेंट (Dashboard vent)

चेहर की तरफ तीर का निशान बनता है. अगर नॉब इसके सामने रखें तब चहरे या फिर कहें तो केबिन के ऊपरी हिस्से में हवा मिलने वाली है. आमतौर इसी का इस्तेमाल करते हैं.

फ्लोर वेंट्स (Floor vents)

पांव की तरफ तीर का निशान बनता है. मतलब है कि हवा पांव को मिलने वाली है. कार का एसी केबिन के निचले हिस्से को हवा देने वाला है.

डैशबोर्ड और फ्लोर वेंट्स (Dashboard and Floor Vents)

इस सिंबल में चेहरे और पांव, दोनों की तरफ तीर का निशान बनता है. मतलब है कि हवा फेस और पांव को मिलने वाली है. गर्मी ज्यादा लग रही हो, तब इस्तेमाल किया जाता है. कार को तेजी से ठंडा करता है.

विंडस्क्रीन डिफ्रोस्टर (Windscreen defroster)

इस सिंबल में कम को जानकारी है. सर्दी के मौसम में या बरसात में कार की विंडस्क्रीन पर फॉग जमती है. इसका इस्तेमाल उस समय किया है. यह विंडस्क्रीन पर फॉग को सेकेंड्स में गायब करता है.
