कार बाजार के लिए अच्छा नहीं रहा अप्रैल महीना! घट गई गाड़ियों की बिक्री (April was not a good month for the car market! decreased vehicle sales)

पिछले महीने (अप्रैल) देश में यात्री वाहनों की खुदरा बिक्री में एक प्रतिशत की गिरावट दर्ज आई है. इस वजह पहली अप्रैल से लागू किए गए सख्त उत्सर्जन नियम है क्योंकि इस कारण खरीदारों ने मार्च में वाहन खरीदना पसंद किया. वाहन डीलर संघों के महासंघ (फाडा) ने यह जानकारी है. अप्रैल 2023 में यात्री वाहनों की खुदरा बिक्री 2,82,674 यूनिट रही जबकि अप्रैल 2022 में यह 2,86,539 यूनिट थी.

In the last month (April), there has been a decline of one percent in the retail sales of passenger vehicles in the country. This is because of the stricter emission norms implemented from 1st April because of which buyers preferred to buy the vehicle in March. The Federation of Vehicle Dealer Associations (FADA) has this information. Retail sales of passenger vehicles stood at 2,82,674 units in April 2023 while in April 2022 it was 2,86,539 units.

घटी बिक्री (Low sale)

फाडा के अध्यक्ष ने कहा, ‘‘यात्री वाहन खंड ने 2022-23 में रिकॉर्ड बिक्री दर्ज थी. अप्रैल में यात्री वाहन बिक्री कम रही है. इस वजह पिछले साल का ऊंचा आधार प्रभाव तथा ओबीडी 2 ए नियम हैं, जिससे वाहन महंगे हो गए हैं और लोगों ने अप्रैल के बजाय मार्च में ही वाहन खरीदना बेहतर समझा.’’

The President of FADA said, “The passenger vehicle segment recorded record sales in 2022-23. Passenger vehicle sales have been low in April. This is because of the high base effect of last year and OBD2A norms, due to which vehicles have become costlier and people thought it better to buy vehicles in March instead of April.

दोपहिया (Two wheeler)

अप्रैल में दोपहिया वाहनों का पंजीकरण 7% घटकर 12,29,911 यूनिट रहा जबकि एक साल पहले की समान अवधि (अप्रैल 2022) में यह 13,26,773 यूनिट था. बिक्री में गिरावट का कारण ओबीडी 2ए की ओर स्थानांतरण, बेमौसम बरसात और मार्च में खरीद को दी गई ग्राहकों की प्राथमिकता है.  ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बिक्री बेहतर नहीं है. कोविड-पूर्व की अप्रैल 2019 की अवधि की तुलना में दोपहिया वाहनों की बिक्री अब भी (अप्रैल 2023) 19 प्रतिशत कम है.

Two-wheeler registrations declined by 7% to 12,29,911 units in April as compared to 13,26,773 units in the same period a year ago (April 2022). The decline in sales is attributed to the migration to OBD 2A, unseasonal rains and customer preference for buying in March. Sales in rural areas are not better. Two-wheeler sales are still (April 2023) down by 19 percent as compared to the pre-Covid April 2019 period.

तिपहिया (Three wheeler)

तिपहिया वाहनों की खुदरा बिक्री पिछले महीने (अप्रैल 2023) 70,928 यूनिट रही, जो अप्रैल, 2022 के 45,114 यूनिट की तुलना में 57% ज्यादा है. इसी तरह, वाणिज्यिक वाहनों का पंजीकरण अप्रैल में दो प्रतिशत बढ़कर 85,587 यूनिट हो गया, जो एक साल पहले की समान अवधि (अप्रैल 2022) में 83,987 यूनिट था.

Retail sales of three-wheelers last month (April 2023) stood at 70,928 units, up 57% from 45,114 units in April 2022. Similarly, registration of commercial vehicles increased by two per cent to 85,587 units in April from 83,987 units in the year-ago period (April 2022).
