एडेप्टिव क्रूज कंट्रोल (एसीसी) एक ड्राइवर असिस्टेंट सिस्टम है, जिसे रोड पर आगे चल वाहनों से सुरक्षित दूरी और गति बनाए के लिए डिजाइन किया है. यह कई आधुनिक कारों में दिया है. एडेप्टिव क्रूज कंट्रोल आपके वाहन और सामने वाले वाहन के बीच की दूरी का पता लगाने के लिए सेंसर या कैमरा या फिर दोनों का इस्तेमाल है.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is a driver assistance system designed to maintain a safe distance and speed from vehicles ahead on the road. This is given in many modern cars. Adaptive cruise control uses sensors or cameras or both to determine the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front.

कैसे काम (How to work)

- सिस्टम व्हीकल और सामने वाले व्हीकल के बीच की दूरी का पता के लिए रडार या अन्य सेंसर का उपयोग है. ऐसा आमतौर पर वाहन के सामने स्थित सेंसर और कैमरा से किया है. कुछ कारों में सिर्फ रडार है जबकि कुछ में सिर्फ कैमरा है. वहीं, कुछ कारों में दोनों की मदद भी है.

-- अगर कभी ड्राइवर को लगता है कि उसे खुद स्पीड को बढ़ाना या घटाए तो वह ऐसा कर सकता है और कार की स्पीड का कंट्रोल खुद लेता है. आप एक्सीलेरेटर या ब्रेक पैडल दबाकर को ओवरराइड करते हैं. क्रूज बटन से भी ऐसा किया है.
