नई कार खरीदने के लिए सालाना आय के आधे से अधिक खर्च न करें, यह नियम याद रखें. चलिए, उदाहरण के साथ हैं. मान लीजिए आपकी प्रति वर्ष आय 10 लाख रुपये है, तो कार खरीदने का मैक्स बजट 5 लाख रुपये है. यह बजट कार की ऑन-रोड कीमत का हो क्योंकि असल में जेब से उसकी ऑनरोड कीमत के बराबर ही पैसा है.

Remember this rule, don't spend more than half of your annual income to buy a new car. Let's go with the example. Suppose your annual income is Rs 10 lakh, then the maximum budget for buying a car is Rs 5 lakh. This budget should be of the on-road price of the car because in reality the pocket money is equal to its on-road price.

अगर कार को लोन पर खरीदते हैं तो 20/4/10 फॉर्मूला याद रखें. यह पॉपुलर फॉर्मूला है. इसके अनुसार कार खरीदें. लोन पर कार खरीदते समय कीमत का कम से कम 20% डाउनपेमेंट करें, लोन की अवधि चार साल से अधिक न रखें और ईएमआई वेतन के 10% से ज्यादा न हो.

Remember the 20/4/10 formula if you buy a car on loan. This is a popular formula. Buy the car accordingly. While buying a car on loan, make a minimum down payment of 20% of the cost, keep the loan tenure for not more than four years and the EMI not to exceed 10% of the salary.
