Apple on Monday unveiled the first branded retail store that will appeal to all ages. Located in the financial, arts and entertainment precinct of Mumbai's congested Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Apple BKC will open to the public on Tuesday to help explore the company's products and services, enjoy exceptional service and learn more. Apple BKC will have a special offer today as part of the summer-long Apple Series 'Mumbai Rising' from Tuesday (April 18).

Apple BKC is designed to be one of the more energy-efficient Apple Store locations in the world, with a dedicated solar array and zero reliance on fossil fuels for store operations. The store is operationally carbon neutral, running on 100 percent renewable energy.

It contains over 450,000 individual wooden elements, all assembled in Delhi. Upon entry to the store, one is greeted by two stone walls sourced from Rajasthan and a 14 meter long stainless steel staircase connecting the ground level and the cantilevered mezzanine. Apple BKC has over 100 team members who collectively speak more than 20 languages.
