British vehicle MG Motors is about to launch a new electric car in India. Named MG Comet. The name of the electric car is inspired by a famous British airplane from 1934 that participated in the England-Australia McRobertson Air Race. The company has shared the first look of this electric car on social media. The interior of the car is shown in this teaser. The steering wheel mounted controls are reminiscent of an iPod.

There is a two-spoke steering wheel, mounted controls, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin gets horizontal air condition vents and premium metallic accents. Its length is 2.9 meters and it has three doors. Looks like a boxy hatchback with two side gates and a tailgate at the rear. It offers four seats and a wheelbase of 2,010 mm while providing better space in the cabin.

It is going to be the cheapest car in the company's current electric portfolio. Designed for urban areas. The company's Wuling Air sold in the international market is based on EV. The company is launched in five colors - White, Blue, Yellow, Pink and Green.
