गडकरी का बयान! नंबर प्लेट से कटेगा टोल टैक्स, बंद होगे टोल (Gadkari's statement! Toll tax will be deducted from number plate, toll will be stopped)

देश में हाईवे पर मौजूदा टोल प्लाजा हट रहे हैं. वाहन की नंबर प्लेट से टोल टैक्स वसूलएगा. सरकार 6 महीने में एक नई तकनीक ला रहे है. सरकार जीपीएस आधारित टोल कलेक्शन सिस्टम टेक्नोलॉजी पेश करेगी. सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग मंत्री गडकरी ने कहा कि इसका उद्देश्य राजमार्गों पर वाहनों को जाम से बचाना है. नेशनल हाइवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया का इस समय टोल राजस्व 40,000 करोड़ रुपये है और यह दो-तीन साल में 1.40 लाख करोड़ होगा.

The existing toll plazas on the highways in the country are being removed. Toll tax will be collected from the number plate of the vehicle. Government is bringing a new technology in 6 months. Government will introduce GPS based toll collection system technology. Road Transport and Highways Minister Gadkari said that its purpose is to save vehicles from jam on the highways. The National Highway Authority of India's toll revenue at present is Rs 40,000 crore and it will be Rs 1.40 lakh crore in two-three years.

मंत्रालय वाहनों को रोके बिना टोल कलेक्शन के लिए ऑटोमैटिक नंबर प्लेट पहचान प्रणाली (स्वचालित नंबर प्लेट रीडर कैमरा) की टेस्टिंग पर काम कर रहा है. “सरकार देश में राजमार्गों पर स्थित टोल प्लाजा को हटाने के लिए जीपीएस आधारित टोल व्यवस्था जैसी तकनीक पर विचार कर रही है.छह महीने में नई प्रौद्योगिकी लेगे.” 

The Ministry is working on the testing of Automatic Number Plate Recognition System (Automatic Number Plate Reader Camera) for toll collection without stopping the vehicles. “Government is considering technology like GPS based toll system to remove toll plazas located on highways in the country. Will take new technology in six months.”

वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 के दौरान, टोल प्लाजा पर एक वाहन के रुकने का औसत समय आठ मिनट था. 2020-21 और 2021-22 में फास्टैग के बाद प्लाजा पर वाहनों के रुकने का औसत समय घटकर 47 सेकेंड रह गया.

During the financial year 2018-19, the average stopping time of a vehicle at the toll plaza was eight minutes. After FASTag in 2020-21 and 2021-22, the average stopping time of vehicles at the plaza reduced to 47 seconds.

सरकार टोल वसूलने के लिए 2 विकल्पों पर विचार है. पहला तरीका- जिसमें कार का जीपीएस सीधे बैंक खाते से टोल में मदद करेगा. दूसरा ऑप्शन नंबर प्लेट का है, जिसमें पुरानी नंबर प्लेट्स को नई प्लेट से बदल दिया जाएगा और कंप्यूटराइज्ड प्रणाली के जरिए एक सॉफ्टवेयर से टोल वसूलएगा. इस पर मंथन किया जा रहा है और कौन सा विकल्प चुना जाएगा. 

The government is considering 2 options for collecting the toll. The first method - in which the GPS of the car will help in toll directly from the bank account. The second option is of number plates, in which the old number plates will be replaced with new plates and toll will be collected from a software through a computerized system. It is being discussed and which option will be chosen.
