ट्रैफिक - लाइट रेड पर सही जगह नहीं रुके तो कटे चालान! रखें ख्याल (Traffic - If you don't stop at the right place on light red, you will be fined! take care)

 शहरों में या भीड़भाड़ इलाकों में यातायात को सही तरीके से चलाने के लिए चौराहों पर ट्रैफिक सिग्नल या कहें कि ट्रैफिक लाइट लगाती हैं. ट्रैफिक सिग्नल पर तीन लाइट- रेड, ऑरेंज और ग्रीन हैं. अगर रेड सिग्नल हो तो वाहनों को रुकता है. लेकिन, यहीं पर खत्म नहीं है. दरअसल, ट्रैफिक सिग्नल पर रेड लाइट हो तो वाहनों को रुकने के साथ-साथ इसका ध्यान रखना चाहिए कि वह जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग से पहले रुक जाएं.

In order to drive traffic properly in cities or congested areas, traffic signals or say traffic lights are installed at intersections. There are three lights on the traffic signal – Red, Orange and Green. If there is a red signal, then the vehicles stop. But, it doesn't end here. Actually, if there is a red light on the traffic signal, along with stopping the vehicles, it should be kept in mind that they should stop before the zebra crossing.

जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग (Zebra crossing)

अगर वाहन जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग के ऊपर रुकता है या आगे निकलकर रुकता है तो उसे रेड लाइट का उल्लंघन माना है. ऐसा पर पुलिस चालान काटती है. इसीलिए, अगर रेड लाइट हो तो जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग से पहले ही रुक जाएं. अब कुछ लोग सोचते हैं कि वाहनों को जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग से पहले ही क्यों रुकना है और आखिर यह जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग क्यों बनी है?  जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग को रेड लाइट पर पैदल चलने वाले लोगों की सहूलियत के लिए बनाता है.

चालान (Challan)

वाहनों के रुकने पर लोग आसानी से सड़क पार कर पाए. यह के सड़क पार के लिए है. यानी, लोग जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग के ऊपर से सड़क पार हैं. रेड लाइट पर अगर जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग के ऊपर वाहन खड़े होंगे तो लोगों को सड़क पार में परेशानी होगी, इसमें रखते हुए यह नियम बनाया कि अगर वाहन जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग पर खड़ा होगा या आगे होगा, तो चालान काटा जाएगा.

People could easily cross the road when the vehicles stopped. This is for crossing the road. That is, people are crossing the road over the zebra crossing. If the vehicle is standing on the zebra crossing at the red light, then people will have trouble crossing the road, keeping in mind, a rule was made that if the vehicle is standing on the zebra crossing or ahead, then the challan will be deducted.
