धीमी गति (Slow Speed) 

अपनी गति कम करें और अपने तथा सामने वाले वाहन के बीच पर्याप्त दूरी रखें. आप कोहरे की स्थिति में आसानी से चलएंगे. साथ ही, अगर सड़क सही से नहीं देख पा रहे हैं तो सड़क के दाहिने किनारे पर चलें और सड़क पर हुए पेंट वर्क को ध्यान में आगे बढ़ें.

Reduce your speed and keep sufficient distance between you and the vehicle in front. You will move smoothly in fog condition. Also, if you are not able to see the road properly, then walk on the right side of the road and proceed keeping in mind the paint work done on the road.

हाई-बीम लाइट (High beam light)

कोहरे में हाई बीम लाइट काम नहीं है, यह सिर्फ कोहरे को रिफ्लेक्ट करती है. इससे आगे देखना और कठिन होगा क्योंकि यह आगे चकाचौंध पैदा हैं, जिससे सामने क्या है, यह देखना कठिन होता है. कम विजिबिलिटी की स्थिति में चलाते समय, लो-बीम लाइट अधिक प्रभावी हैं.

High beam light is of no use in fog, it only reflects the fog. It will be more difficult to see further because it creates glare ahead, which makes it difficult to see what is in front. When driving in low visibility conditions, low-beam lights are more effective.

विंडस्क्रीन और खिड़कियां (Windscreen and windows)

विंडस्क्रीन और खिड़कियों पर बाहर की ओर कोहरा जमता है और तापमान में अंतर के कारण अंदर की ओर भाप जमती है, इससे विजिबिलिटी प्रभावित है. इसलिए इन्हें बार-बार साफ करना जरूरी होता है. कार के डिफॉगर फीचर का इस्तेमाल करें.

कोहरा (Fog)

कोहरे में वाहन चलाते समय सतर्क रहें और सुरक्षित रहें. यदि परिस्थिति ज्यादा खतरनाक हो, तो वाहन को सड़क के किनारे कहीं स्थान पर रोक लें और कोहरा छंटने या कम का इंतजार करें. कार रोकें तो हजार्ड लाइट ऑन कर लें.
