फास्टैग की जरूरत नहीं, ऐसे लिया टोल टैक्स! नंबर प्लेट स्कैन होते कटेंगे पैसे (Fastag is not needed, toll tax is taken like this! Money will be deducted after number plate scanning)

 देश में टोल टैक्स लेने का तरीका बदल रहा है. फिलहाल टोल कलेक्शन के लिए फास्टैग का इस्तेमाल है. हालांकि केंद्र हाईवे पर टोल प्लाजा को खत्म पर विचार है. इस जगह कैमरा-आधारित टोल कलेक्शन सिस्टम लागू होगा.  गाड़ियों की नंबर प्लेट स्कैन कर सीधा बैंक खाते से टोल काटएगा. इन कैमरों को ऑटोमेटिक नंबर प्लेट रीडर कैमरों से जाएगा.

The way of collecting toll tax is changing in the country. Currently, Fastag is used for toll collection. However, there is a plan to eliminate the toll plaza on the Central Highway. Camera-based toll collection system will be implemented at this place. Under this, toll will be deducted directly from the bank account by scanning the number plates of the vehicles. These cameras will be connected to automatic number plate reader cameras.

टोल सिस्टम (Toll system)

सड़क मंत्रालय का दावा है कि इन कैमरों को लगाने से टोल प्लाजा पर वाहनों का वेटिंग पीरियड कम होगा. देश में 97 प्रतिशत टोल कलेक्शन फास्टैग के जरिए है, फिर टोल प्लाजा पर जाम लगता है.

The Road Ministry claims that by installing these cameras, the waiting period of vehicles at the toll plaza will be reduced. 97 percent toll collection in the country is through FASTag, then there is jam at the toll plaza.

एएनपीआर (ANPR)

सड़क मंत्रालय देशभर के हाइवे से टोल प्लाजा को हटाएगा. टोल प्लाजा की जगह एएनपीआर लगाएगा, जो वाहन की नंबर प्लेट को पढ़ेगा और बैंक खाते से टोल टैक्स काट लेगा. हाईवे के एंट्री और एग्जिट पॉइंट्स पर कैमरों को स्थापित किया जाएगा. सिस्टम नंबर प्लेट की तस्वीर लेकर पता दूरी का पता लगाएगा और उसी हिसाब से टोल टैक्स वसूलाएगा. 

The Road Ministry will remove toll plazas from the highways across the country. ANPR will be installed in place of toll plaza, which will read the number plate of the vehicle and deduct toll tax from the bank account. Cameras will be installed at the entry and exit points of the highway. The system will detect the address distance by taking the picture of the number plate and will charge the toll tax accordingly.

 प्रोजेक्ट (Project)

केंद्रीय मंत्री गडकरी ने सितंबर में बताया था कि सरकार टेस्टिंग के लिए एक पायलट प्रोजक्ट चला रही है. इस सिस्टम का फायदा होगा कि वाहनों से दूरी के आधार पर टोल लिया जाएगा. नई टेक्नोलॉजी से दो फायदे मिलते हैं.

Union Minister Gadkari had told in September that the government is running a pilot project for testing. The advantage of this system will be that toll will be taken on the basis of distance from the vehicles. New technology gives two advantages.
