देश में ज्यादा कारें बेचने वाली कंपनी मारुति सुजुकी है. देश में ज्यादा बिकने वाली 10 कारों में मारुति सुजुकी के ज्यादातर मॉडल हैं. वहीं, अगर बिक्री के मामले में टॉप 5 कारों की बात तो मारुति सुजुकी के मॉडल्स का दबदबा है. बीते महीने सितंबर में सबसे ज्यादा बिकी 5 कारों में 4 कारें मारुति सुजुकी थी. मारुति सुजुकी ऑल्टो, मारुति सुजुकी वैगनआर, मारुति सुजुकी बलेनो और मारुति सुजुकी ब्रेजा हैं.

सितंबर महीने में ज्यादा मारुति सुजुकी ऑल्टो की बिक्री हुई, दूसरे नंबर पर मारुति सुजुकी वैगनआर रही, तीसरे नंबर पर मारुति सुजुकी बलेनो और चौथे नंबर पर मारुति सुजुकी ब्रेजा रही. पांचवें नंबर टाटा नेक्सन कार रही. यानी, मारुति के अलावा सिर्फ टाटा ही ऐसी कंपनी है, जो बिक्री के मामले में टॉप-5 कारों में मॉडल को रखने में कामयाब है.

ऑल्टो रेंज में दो मॉडल- ऑल्टो 800 और ऑल्टो के10 हैं. ऑल्टो 800 की शुरुआती कीमत 3.39 लाख रुपये है, जो 5.03 लाख रुपये तक है जबकि ऑल्टो के10 की कीमत 3.99 लाख रुपये है, जो 5.84 लाख रुपये तक जाती है. सभी कीमतें एक्स-शोरूम, दिल्ली हैं.

ऑल्टो 800 में बीएस6 नॉर्म्स वाला 0.8-लीटर, 3-सिलेंडर पेट्रोल इंजन है, जो 48 पीएस पावर और 69 एनएम टॉर्क (पेट्रोल पर) जबकि 41 पीएस पावर और 60 एनएम टॉर्क (सीएनजी पर) जनरेट है. इसमें 5-स्पीड मैनुअल ट्रांसमिशन है. 

The Alto 800 is powered by a 0.8-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine with BS6 norms, which generates 48 PS power and 69 Nm torque (on petrol) while 41 PS power and 60 Nm torque (on CNG). It has a 5-speed manual transmission.

वहीं, ऑल्टो के10 में 1.0-लीटर पेट्रोल इंजन है, जो 67 पीएस पावर और 89 एनएम टॉर्क जनरेट में सक्षम है. इसमें 5-स्पीड मैनुअल (स्टैंडर्ड) और एएमटी गियरबॉक्स का ऑप्शन है. सीएनजी वर्जन नहीं आता है.

At the same time, the Alto K10 is powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine, which is capable of generating 67 PS power and 89 Nm torque. It gets the option of 5-speed manual (standard) and AMT gearbox. CNG version is not available.
