भारत में कई ब्रांड्स के स्मार्टफोन्स की कीमत में बढ़त देखी जाती है. दरअसल, भारत में टैक्स से जुड़ा एक नया ऑर्डर जारी है जिसमें बताया है कि फोन में इस्तेमाल किये जाने वाले इनपुट्स के हिसाब से उनपर लगने वाला कस्टम ड्यूटी चार्ज बढ़ता है.

बढ़ते हैं दाम (Prices go up)

 स्मार्टफोन्स के डिस्प्ले असेंबली और बैक सपोर्ट फ्रेम्स को इम्पोर्ट किया जाएगा, उनपर 10% की बेसिक कस्टम ड्यूटी देगी लेकिन एन्टीना पिन, पावर की और दूसरे पार्ट्स भी डिस्प्ले असेंबली और बैक सपोर्ट फ्रेम्स के साथ इम्पोर्ट होंगे तो कस्टम ड्यूटी चार्ज 5% से बढ़एगा और टोटल चार्ज 15% होता है. वजह है कि स्मार्टफोन्स की कीमत में इजाफा है.
