गूगल ने फरवरी में वर्कस्पेस के लिए हैंगआउट ऐप को नए 'गूगल चैट' से बदल दिया. कंपनी इस साल के अंत में पुराने हैंगआउट को पूरी तरह बंद के लिए तैयार है. प्लेटफॉर्म के सभी मौजूदा गूगल चैट पर ले रही है. गूगल ने एक नए ब्लॉग पोस्ट में खुलासा किया कि नवंबर 2022 में हैंगआउट को हटा दिया जाएगा और पहले डेस्कटॉप और मोबाइल पर गूगल चैट में माइग्रेट के लिए कहा जाएगा.

In February, Google replaced the Hangouts app for workspaces with the new 'Google Chat'. The company is ready to completely shut down the old Hangouts by the end of this year. The platform is taking over all existing Google Chat. Google revealed in a new blog post that Hangouts will be deprecated in November 2022 and will first migrate to Google Chat on desktop and mobile.

डेटा डाउनलोड (Download the data)

हैंगआउट प्लेटफॉर्म से चैट डेटा स्वचालित रूप से गूगल चैट पर उपलब्ध होगा और प्लेटफॉर्म समाप्त से पहले हैंगआउट डेटा को डाउनलोड का विकल्प होगा. 

Chat data from the Hangouts Platform will be automatically available on Google Chat and there will be an option to download the Hangouts data before the Platform expires.

आज से मोबाइल पर हैंगआउट का उपयोग वाले लोगों को एक इन-ऐप स्क्रीन देगी जो Gmail में चैट या चैट ऐप में जाने के लिए कहेगी. जो लोग हैंगआउट क्रोम एक्सटेंशन का उपयोग हैं, उन्हें वेब पर चैट में जाने या चैट वेब ऐप इंस्टॉल के लिए कहा जाएगा. जुलाई में, जो लोग वेब पर जीमेल में हैंगआउट का उपयोग करते हैं, उन्हें जीमेल में चैट में अपग्रेड किया जाएगा.'

Starting today, people using Hangouts on mobile will get an in-app screen asking to go to Chat or the Chat app in Gmail. Those using the Hangouts Chrome extension will be asked to enter Chat on the web or install the Chat web app. In July, people who use Hangouts in Gmail on the web will be upgraded to Chat in Gmail.

गूगल चैट पर रिडायरेक्ट (Redirect to google chat)

हैंगआउट वेब को जाने के कम से कम एक महीने पहले हैंगआउट यूजर्स को इन-प्रोडक्ट नोटिस दिखाई देगा. हैंगआउट वेब ऑटोमैटिकली विजिटर को गूगल चैट वेब पर रीडायरेक्ट शुरू कर देगा. 

Hangouts users will see an in-product notice at least one month before they go to Hangouts Web. Hangouts Web will automatically start redirecting visitors to Google Chat Web.

2013 में हैंगआउट (Hangouts in 2013)

हैंगआउट को 2013 में वापस पेश था और जीचैट का प्लान्ड सक्सेसर था (नए गूगल चैट के साथ भ्रमित नहीं होना) ऑरिजनल जीचैट या जैसा कि कुछ लोग जानते हैं, गूगल टॉक, इस महीने की शुरुआत में बंद कर था.

Hangouts was introduced back in 2013 and was the planned successor to GChat (not to be confused with the new Google Chat) the original GChat or, as some know, Google Talk, was shut down earlier this month.
