1.एसी का इस्तेमाल (Use of ac)

गर्मियों के मौसम में एयर कंडिशनर की जरूरत कम से कम कार के अंदर है. ऐसे में हम अमूमन एसी को लगातार चालू करते हैं. जितना संभव हो, कार का केबिन ठंडा होने पर एसी को बंद कर दें. ये पैंतरा कारगर है और काफी मात्रा में कार का फ्यूल बचाता है.

2.रेड लाइट पर ऑफ

अगर ट्रैफिक लाइट पर या वजह के चलते 10 सेकेंड्स से ज्यादा का इंतजार करता है तो गाड़ी के इंजन को फौरन बंद करना चाहिए क्योंकि एक ठहरा हुआ वाहन सिर्फ एक घंटे में एक गैलन पेट्रोल की भारी-भरकम बर्बादी करता है. किसी भी लोकेशन पर रेड लाइट ऑन हो तो बिना देर लगाएं गाड़ी को तुरंत बंद कर दें. ऐसा कर काफी हद फ्यूल बचाता है.
