भारत में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों का क्रेज बढ़ रहा है और वाहनों में दिलचस्पी लेना शुरू है. बड़ी वाहनों निर्माताओं के साथ बड़े और छोटे स्टार्टअप इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल्स मार्केट में हैं. महिंद्रा एंड महिंद्रा भारत की लीडिंग कंपनियों में एक है और इलेक्ट्रिक धड़े महिंद्रा ऑटोमोटिव ने पुणे में अल्टरनेट फ्यूल कॉन्क्लेव 2022  में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों की नई रेंज है. महिंद्रा ने ट्रेओ ऑटो, ट्रेओ जोर डिलीवरी वैन, ट्रेओ टिपर वेरिएंट और ई-अल्फा मिनी टिपर के साथ एटम क्वाड्रिसाइकिल पेश हैं. इलेक्ट्रिक 3-व्हीलर सेगमेंट में महिंद्रा का मार्केट शेयर 73.4% है जिस चलते कंपनी पहले पायदान पर है.

महिंद्रा एटम क्वाड्रिसाइकिल (Mahindra Atom Quadricycle)

इलेक्ट्रिक पावर महिंद्रा एटम क्लीन एनर्जी के साथ आरामदायक और स्मार्ट फीचर्स है. एटम के साथ इलेक्ट्रिक अल्फा टिपर पेश है जो ई-अल्फा मिनी प्लेटफॉर्म पर है. ई-अल्फा मिनी टिपर को 1.5 किलोवाट बैटरी पैक है जो सिंगल चार्ज में 80 किमी तक रेंज है. लोडिंग क्षमता 310 किलोग्राम है. फिलहाल महिंद्रा एटम को कमर्शियल वाहन के रूप में लॉन्च है निजी इस्तेमाल के लिए लॉन्च किया या नहीं, जानकारी नहीं है.

3-लीटर महिंद्रा एटम लुक और फीचर्स में पैसा वसूल कार है, बल्कि कीमत कम का अनुमान है. अनुमान लगाना उचित नहीं होगा, इस कार की कीमत 3 लाख रुपये के इर्द-गिर्द होगी. महिंद्रा एटम की अधिकतम रफ्तार 50 किमी/घंटा होगी और इसे फुल चार्ज में 5 घंटे का समय लगेगा. एटम इलेक्ट्रिक क्वाड्रिसाइकिल को सिंगल चार्ज में 120 किमी चलता है. इलेक्ट्रिक ऑटो-रिक्शा के लिए ये एक विकल्प सामने है.
