भारत में तेजी से इलेक्ट्रिक वाहनों का माहौल है और बढ़ती पेट्रोल-डीजल की कीमतों को देखते हुए ग्राहक इन वाहनों की ओर रुख हैं. एमजी मोटर इंडिया देश में इलेक्ट्रिक वाहन बेच रही है और कंपनी और भी कई किफायती इलेक्ट्रिक कारें भारत लाने वाले है जो ग्राहकों के बजट में फिट बैठ सके. एमजी जेडएस ईवी के बाद नई इलेक्ट्रिक कार कंपनी बहुत जल्द लॉन्च है जो छोटे साइज की कार होती है. रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक कंपनी भारत में एक बेहद किफायती कार भी लॉन्च पर विचार है. इस कार का कोडनेम एमजी E230 है.

एमजी की ये नई इलेक्ट्रिक कार साइज में छोटी होगी जो सिर्फ दो दरवाजों के साथ है और 4 लोगों के बैठने की व्यवस्था है. अगले साल तक भारत में लॉन्च कर सकती है.लंबाई 2,197 मिमी, चौड़ाई 1,493 मिमी और हाइट 1,621 मिमी होगी, व्हीलबेस 1,940 मिमी है. साइज में  कार मारुति ऑल्टो होगी. चीन के मार्केट में ये कार बहुत पसंद की है और वजह है कि भारतीय ग्राहकों के किफायत पसंद मिजाज को देखते हुए भारत में भी लॉन्च पर विचार है.

This new electric car from MG will be smaller in size with only two doors and seating for 4 people. May launch in India by next year.
