सरकारी बैंकों के प्राइवेटाइजेशन की प्रक्रिया लगभग शुरू है. प्राइवेटाइजेशन सितंबर तक शुरू है. सरकार बैंकिंग विनियमन अधिनियम में संशोधन करके पीएसयू बैंकों में विदेशी स्वामित्व पर 20% की सीमा को हटाने की तैयारी है. इनमें दो सरकारी बैंक शॉर्ट लिस्टेड हैं. 

The process of privatization of public sector banks is almost beginning. Privatization starts by September. The government is set to remove the 20% cap on foreign ownership in PSU banks by amending the Banking Regulation Act. In these two public sector banks are shortlisted.

सरकार की तैयारी (Preparation of government)

रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, दो सरकारी अधिकारियों ने नाम न बताने की शर्त के साथ जानकारी दी है.संसद के चालू बजट सत्र में संशोधन पेश की तैयारी है लेकिन बड़े बदलावों के लिए कैबिनेट की मंजूरी में कुछ समय लगता है. मानसून सत्र तक संभावना है कि संशोधन है. सरकार का उद्देश्य सितंबर तक कम से कम एक बैंक का प्राइवेटाइजेशन सुनिश्चित है.

According to reports, two government officials have given information with the condition of anonymity. The amendment is ready to be introduced in the current budget session of Parliament, but it takes some time for cabinet approval for major changes. There is a possibility that there is a revision till the monsoon session. The aim of the government is to ensure privatization of at least one bank by September.

बैंक होगा प्राइवेट (Bank will be private)

सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के प्राइवेटाइजेशन पर तेजी से काम है. इंटर-मिनिस्ट्री परामर्श अंतिम चरण में है. वहीं, विधायी प्रक्रिया पूरी के बाद, विनिवेश पर मंत्रियों का समूह निजीकरण के लिए बैंकों के नामों को फाइनल करेगा. प्रक्रियाओं को जल्दी से जल्दी पूरा होगा ताकि अगले वित्त वर्ष की शुरुआत में कम से कम एक बैंक का निजीकरण किया जा सके. 

Work is on fast on the privatization of public sector banks. Inter-ministerial counseling is in the final stage. At the same time, after the completion of the legislative process, the Group of Ministers on disinvestment will finalize the names of banks for privatization. The processes will be completed at the earliest so that at least one bank can be privatized by the beginning of the next financial year.

सरकार की योजना (Government plan)

चालू वित्त वर्ष के लिए बजट पेश करते हुए वित्त मंत्री सीतारमण ने वित्त वर्ष 22 में आईडीबीआई बैंक के साथ दो सरकारी बैंकों का निजीकरण की घोषणा थी. प्राइवेटाइजेशन के लिए नीति आयोग ने दो PSU बैंक को शॉर्टलिस्ट भी है. सीतारमण ने कहा कि चालू वित्त वर्ष में एक बीमा कंपनी को बेचा जाएगा. सरकार दो सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के बैंकों के निजीकरण में शामिल नियामक मुद्दे को दूर के लिए आईडीबीआई बैंक पर निवेशकों की प्रतिक्रिया का इंतजार है.

Presenting the budget for the current financial year, Finance Minister Sitharaman announced the privatization of two public sector banks along with IDBI Bank in FY22. NITI Aayog has also shortlisted two PSU banks for privatization. Sitharaman said that an insurance company will be sold in the current financial year. The government is awaiting the response of investors on IDBI Bank to address the regulatory issue involved in the privatization of two public sector banks.

जानकारी अधिकारियों ने बताया कि निजीकरण के लिए सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया और इंडियन ओवरसीज बैंक को संभावित में था. इंडियन ओवरसीज बैंक और सेंट्रल बैंक ऑफ इंडिया दो उम्मीदवार हैं जिन्हें निजीकरण के पक्ष में है, बैंक ऑफ महाराष्ट्र को भी अगले साल या बाद में इस अभ्यास के पक्ष में है.

Information officials said that the Central Bank of India and Indian Overseas Bank were in potential for privatization. Indian Overseas Bank and Central Bank of India are the two candidates who are in favor of privatization, Bank of Maharashtra is also in favor of this exercise next year or later.
