दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने एक नोटिफिकेशन जारी है। इस तहत, अगले सेशन से एमफिल कोर्स को बंद कर दिया है। इस पर नए सेशन से कोर्स में एडमिशन नहीं होगे। यूनिवर्सिटी ने निर्णय राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप है। विश्वविद्यालय 2022-23 से नीति को लागू करेगा।
Delhi University has issued a notification. Under this, the MPhil course has been closed from the next session. There will be no admission in the course from the new session on this. The decision of the university is in line with the National Education Policy 2020. The university will implement the policy from 2022-23.
एम.फिल के लिए नहीं मिलेगा एडमिशन
(Admission will not be available for M.Phil)
इसमें नोटिफिकेशन में, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय ने कहा कि दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न विभागों में एमफिल प्रोग्राम में 2022-23 से राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के अनुरूप बंद जाएगा। यहां नया प्रवेश नहीं होगा। विश्वविद्यालय के अनुसार, एमफिल प्रोगाम के लिए पहले से रजिस्टर्ड छात्र कोर्स का अध्ययन जारी रखें।
In this notification, Delhi University said that MPhil program in various departments of Delhi University will be closed from 2022-23 in line with the National Education Policy 2020. There will be no new admission here. According to the university, students already registered for MPhil program continue to study the course.
फैसले पर विरोध (Protest against the decision)
इस फैसले पर शिक्षकों ने विरोध है। अकादमिक परिषद ने कहा कि एमफिल शोध डिग्री आप में अलग और मास्टर डिग्री से ऊपर है। यह बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि एनईपी-2020 ने एमफिल को बंद कर दिया है।
Teachers protested this decision. The Academic Council said that the MPhil research degree is different in itself and above the master's degree. It is very unfortunate that NEP-2020 has discontinued M.Phil.
वहीं कार्यकारी परिषद की पूर्व सदस्य हबीब ने आलोचना है। यह वंचित पृष्ठभूमि वाले छात्रों के लिए नुकसान हैं, जो एमफिल को एक शोध डिग्री के रूप में थे। यह फैसला मुश्किलें पैदा करगा। जेएनयू की प्रोफेसर आयशा किदवई ने भी इस फैसले पर नाराजगी है।
At the same time, Habib, a former member of the Executive Council, has criticized. This is a disadvantage for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, who had MPhil as a research degree. This decision will create difficulties. JNU professor Ayesha Kidwai also expressed displeasure over this decision.

Enrollment from the 2012-2013 MPhil is consistently higher for women, which currently stands at around 60%. MPhil is the only research degree, which was easily achieved by women as well as other disadvantaged sections. On the other hand a PhD degree is an investment of time and more money.
