ओमिक्रॉन बहुत तेजी से फैलता है लेकिन लक्षणों को लेकर ज्यादा जानकारी सामने नहीं थी. ऐसे में वेरिएंट के मरीजों को लक्षण के आधार पर पहचाना मुश्किल है. ब्रिटेन में एक स्टडी है और ओमिक्रॉन के कुछ नए लक्षणों को लेकर दावा है. इस मुताबिक ओमिक्रॉन से संक्रमित लोगों में नाक से पानी आना, सिर दर्द, थकान और गला सूखने जैसे लक्षण हैं. ओमिक्रॉन वेरिएंट के लक्षण साधारण सर्दी हैं.

ओमिक्रॉन के लक्षणों को ले यह नया खुलासा चिंता है क्योंकि ये सारे लक्षण सामान्य सर्दी के हैं. ओमिक्रॉन उसे सामान्य सर्दी समझकर अनदेखी करते हैं और अनजाने ही कई लोगों को ओमिक्रॉन से संक्रमित करे. कोरोना मरीजों के संपर्क में हैं या भीड़-भाड़ वाली ऐसी जगहों पर हैं जहां से कोरोना संक्रमण की आशंका है. वे सामान्य सर्दी गंभीरता से लें और कोविड प्रोटोकॉल का पालन करें.
