पंचायती राज मंत्रालय भारत सरकार की एक शाखा है। संघ में सरकार की शक्तियों और कार्यों को दो सरकारों के बीच विभाजित किया है। भारत में यह केंद्र सरकार और राज्य सरकारें हैं।

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj is a branch of the Government of India. The powers and functions of the government in the union are divided between the two governments. In India it is the Central Government and the State Governments.

भारत के संविधान के 73 वें और 74 वें संशोधन अधिनियम के पारित के साथ, 1993 में शक्तियों और कार्यों के विभाजन को स्थानीय स्व-सरकारों (ग्राम स्तर पर पंचायत और नगरों और बड़े शहर में नगर निगमों) में उलझा दिया है।भारत के संघीय ढांचे में दो नहीं बल्कि तीन स्तरीय सरकारें हैं।

With the passage of the 73rd and 74th Amendment Acts of the Constitution of India in 1993, the division of powers and functions into local self-governments (Panchayats and Nagars at the village level and Municipal Corporations in the larger city) has been complicated. There are not two but three tier governments in the structure.

पंचायती राज मंत्रालय पंचायती राज और पंचायती राज संस्थाओं से संबंधित मामलों को देखता है।मई 2004 में बनाया था। मंत्रालय का नेतृत्व कैबिनेट का मंत्री करता है।

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj looks after the matters relating to Panchayati Raj and Panchayati Raj Institutions. Created in May 2004. The ministry is headed by a cabinet minister.
