जेफ बेजोस ने दिया सीईओ पद से इस्तीफा - (Jeff Bezos resigns as CEO)

दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी ई-कॉमर्स कंपनी अमेज़न के सीईओ जेफ बेजोस ने सोमवार को अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया. 27 साल पहले इसी दिन अमेज़न कंपनी की स्थापना हुई थी. जेफ बेजोस की जगह अमेजन वेब सर्विसेज के हैड एंडी जेसी सीईओ का पद संभालेंगे. इस से पहले फरवरी में कंपनी ने कहा था कि बेजोस साल के अंत तक अपना पद छोड़ देंगे.  Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon, the world's largest e-commerce company, resigned from his post on Monday. The Amazon company was established on this day 27 years ago. Andy Jesse, head of Amazon Web Services, will take over as CEO in place of Jeff Bezos. Earlier in February, the company had said that Bezos would leave his post by the end of the year.

बेजोस ने अमेज़न के शेयरधारकों की बैठक के दौरान कहा था- "मेरे लिए 5 जुलाई की तारीख बेहद खास है. 27 साल पहले इसी तारीख को हमनें अमेज़न कंपनी  की शुरुआत की थी." सीईओ का पद छोड़ने के बाद बेजोस अमेज़न के एग्जीक्यूटिव चेयरमैन का कार्यभार संभालेंगे और साथ ही नए प्रोडक्ट व इनिशिएटिव पर फोकस करेंगे. वह अपने अन्य वेंचर्स जैसे बेजोस अर्थ फंड, नीला मूल स्पेस शिप कंपनी, अमेजन डे वन फंड और द वॉशिंगटन पोस्ट पर फोकस करने की योजना बना रहे हैं.  Bezos said during the Amazon shareholders meeting- "The date of July 5 is very special for me. On this date 27 years ago, we started the Amazon company." After leaving the position of CEO, Bezos will take over as executive chairman of Amazon and will also focus on new products and initiatives. He plans to focus on his other ventures such as Bezos Earth Fund, Nila Moolah Space Ship Company, Amazon Day One Fund and The Washington Post.

Today it is an online retail giant that sells and distributes all kinds of products across the globe. Apart from this, the company is also working in areas like streaming, music and television, cloud computing, robotics, AI.

Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has become the world's richest person for the fourth consecutive year in the 35th list of Forbes. According to the list, Jeff Bezos has a net worth of $ 177 billion.
